as a spin of from this thread was this a bad push

where lava talks about my loose table image as i took this as a compement as i do try hard to premote this image.
even to the point that i have made calls knowing i am losing just because i want pepol to see the cards i was playing.
and i try to use the show cards function for this perpus too.

but what id like to know is do pepol baer in mind some 1s table image when making a call or play ?
and if so how do you make you jugment on someones image is it only over that 1 game or do you keep in mind there prevus play ?
im shour many of us use the player notes but i know i tend not to keep notes on players i play regualy and i wonder how awere some pepol are of there table image ??
and if thay are do thay try to use it to there advantage ??

oh i always have an image of you ROO in my mind lol....

and i dont keep any notes on ppl,and its hard to go by notes when ppl are chasing hoping to hit.

this could be a good reson to keep notes on this tipe of player i know in the past i have gone to regester for a torny and not done so as i have seen 2 or 3 players there that i dont like to play because of there play stile eg the 1s that will call anything (i know this tipe of player has evrry right to chase but i find it hard to play aganse personaly as it takes the read aspect out of the game so becomes gambaling somthing i dont class poker as)

All I can say Roo is, there is one player on OP66 who whenever they make a sizeable raise, I always fold, unless I have AA or KK .... not saying who it is,but it is not you my friend !!

When I am playing a game I try to project a certain table image. A lot of times when I am having a bad day, I'm not getting cards, or I am short staked, I will use that time to establish an image that may benefit me later. I know what image I am trying to project. The interesting question is: does my table image in the minds of others match the table image I am trying to project.

I would be interested to know what others think my image is on the table, because it really doesn't matter what I think I am projecting as much as it matters what I have actually projected.

If I was to describe your table image Roo, I would say you are a loose cannon. I never know if you are playing 6 9 offsuit or AA or in your case KK - lol. (Roo beat my 4 Qs with 4Ks one time). To your credit you are consistently unpredictable. At times you play like you are serious about the game and other times you play like you don't much care. The challenge is to figure out which is which at any given time.

The way a player chats or doesn't chat can also reveal a certain table image. In your case you seem to be just goofing around sometimes when in reality you are playing serious poker.

In short I consider you a very good player with a slightly recless table image.

I have not played much against Roo lately but I would have found his play unpedictable and so at times I would call with a low pair which against others I may have folded. But I would mostly look at what players are doing now in the current game rather than from previous games. If folding alot now....then more credit goes to a big raise,

What I would say is been unpredictable can be hard to play against. So Roo is a dangerous player

thank you for your post m8 and as you have asked i find you very much a "mood" player so i find you tend to play a very devrent game from day to day apart from that all i can do is shair with you the "player notes" i have on you
1. tends to over bet top pair
2. will bet to see where he is with 2ed pair from flop
3. will call to see
4. will make value bets and rases

roo ive played on tables with u a little. you seem to have a good time playing, thats great. but did noticed when u get hit by small beats u tend to play a little more wild. M_80 u seem to be a more serious player, more focused player. its the table image i see for the both of you. i dont take player notes cos i think each game is different and played differently. im thrilled just to get to the final table, anything more than that is a bonus. not sure what my image is, but i have fun playing and chatting. why play if its not fun?

in a fuw words iv got you down as "tight agresive" i find this makes you hard to knock out of a torny unless you can be traped with a monster hand so i find as this tipe of player you will often place in a torny even if you never seem to look to be in a position to win it

that is very true, if you look at my medals in outlaws and op tourneys combined i have 45G 59S 64B, where as you have many more golds.

i think most of us play with less fear drunk, and make calls we maybe wouldn't.

and a player who calls can be hard to bluff.

also, i allways expect to hit when had a few drinks, and play accordingly, so others fold anyway

hmmm roo i think you are using this thread to bluff people into thinking that they should play that style against you lol.
personally i don't keep notes on anyone but i do come across the same people regularly, especially in the sit an go's which i mostly play.
as for my table image/strategy i'm not really sure i have one, sometimes i play the cards, sometimes i play the person, i will bet knowing i will lose just to see what others are playing, i will maybe show more bluffs than strong hands an sometimes the opposite.
to me the psychological aspect of the game is a game in it's self.
