Default Turbo Tables

I seem to have better luck on non turbo tables. Although I have won on them, it seems that you must play more middle of the road hands before the blinds get too high. Is more luck or skill required on these tables?

The whole game is a mixture of luck and skill. turbo or normal.

You can't improve your luck, but you can improve your skill.

I would say on the turbo tables, the skill required is to know which middling hands to play before the blinds get too big.

Thank you for the advice. I guess it is how you look at it and how you play. I can relate it to table games whereby at first I was taken aback by some who would come in the game and always go all in. At first it was upsetting, and I always folded. As I played a little more and noticed the hands they called with, I saw it as an opportunity to earn easy chips.

I don't really see a change in the two different one's
Other than the Turbo's take a shorter period of time (obviously) lol
But I would say I have more success on the Turbo's due to the lack of patience and discipline I have when tournaments are prolonged and it's not going my way so I call with 3 or 4 over cards on the board and stuff like that were as on Turbo's there short enough for me to play my real game an play to the best of my ability
I would have to say tho that the big difference is from Turbo to Baz despite there only bein 2 hands each level difference as I believe as much as I enjoy it Baz Fast involves a lot more luck than the other types of Tournaments

the turbos are better just cuz they keep people from moving incredibly slow

I think I do play differently because the blinds go up very fast. Love the fast play though so what I think would be interesting is 'normal' tournament in terms of blinds up every 10 hands but at Baz playing speed.

All the skill and none of the slow players frustration..

What do others think ?

In my experience all tables 'play' very differently. I always had a fondness for the original 5k turbo when it first came out as the 4th mini table. Id reconmend practicing there(to save chips) get winny before you hit the 40k. The 200k is a fantasticly quick way to lose a lot of chips. (bitter? not me!!!)
The Ultras are great fun - when you can play and win 2 at once - you will be the master of fast play.
But, as fast as I like to play, to play nearer a proper game, you just cant beat the mammoths. I dont think Turbo or Ultra techniques work very well in the mammoths.
I more or less 'have' to play the mammoths now, due to 5% chip loss - to maintain my chip balance.
I havent played against an 'all inner' yet that has won a table, nor have I ever won going 'all in' all the time. My personal record to win on a mini table is 6 hands I never went blindly all in. To play the game youve gotta beat everybody. Good luck and gimmie your chips.

I love the Baz Tables, and I don't play hands that I wouldn't play otherwise on it. Although sometimes when all I am seeing is low cards flopping it make me want to play my low cards. But most of the time I can avoid the temptation.

Being a tight player i seem to get gobbled by the blinds and am forced to play mediocre hands. only once have i had success at a turbo or ultra fast mini. and Yes i am bitter at the 200k turbo, lost my first 200k there and only had 3k left, not knowing that turbo meant the blinds raised faster. it seems like a tight to super-tight player, like myself should enter at their own risk...

im a tight player i guess, or so i've been told and i enjoy the turbo tables. my favorite is the 40K. I tend to do well on that table. Only played the 200K once, came in 2nd. I dont play the Baz table though, never had any success there so I'll stay away from it for a while. Started to do good on the roo table, think some day I'll go back to the Baz table one more time
