Was a good post i thought,anyone who takes poker seriously spesh when going through a bad spell needs to go back to basics,face a few home truths and settle down
And for a new player these are the hardest bad habits to lose..chasing and throwing good chips after bad..ie not folding after a big chip push to live a few more hands..

Fozzy i wished you played more,instead of trawling threads for unquotes and misquoted odds or poker terms,you know your stuff so why not come and teach the unenlightend?

Ultimo, I wish I could play more, but between work and 2 young kids, time is limited and the 4 tourneys are at inconvenient times for me ( though I do make the odd appearance, playing Wombats while typing this ).

I'm not really a ring player and get my sit 'n go fix elsewhere, so all that really leaves is the forum

As for teaching the unenlightened, I am taking that with a pinch of salt, because if you are serious, then I can tell you you are sadly mistaken. Whilst not a complete beginner, I am still very much a novice at poker, why else would I be playing for play chips ?
