Question $100 FR MTT every 4 HOURS instead of...

Not sure whether this should have gone under the existing thread "suggestions" but I wanted to see what people thought to this specific 'suggestion'.

A $100 Free Roll MTT every 4 hours instead of the $25 free rolls every hour

I think the amount of Numpty calls would be less if you adopted this format.

1. If players knew this was the only free roll MTT with a chance of winning a few $ for the next 4 hours, they may not be so quick to go all in pre flop with utter tosh.

2. Also, if you adopted this format you will effectively quadruple the prize money up for grabs in the free roll to $30 as opposed to the existing $7.50.

I know $30 isn't a huge amount and you're not going to stop all the numpty players from going all in with J3 off etc pre flop and muffing your A A or KK but it might focus their attention a little more? Who knows?

What do you Guys and Gals think?

It's smart ideas like this, that if solicited by the powers that be beforehand, would have made the switch to the new script easier, better and more fun

It's unlikely to be implemented, as that would mean the site would only have the opportunity to collect 're-buys' and 'add-ons' one tournament every 4 hours rather than hourly as they can now.

Lets face it, it's all about making money.

Rebuys and add-ons represant no more than 20-30% of the prizes, there is no trick : You can check lively how many rebuys and add-on a tournament has by clicking on "tournaments info" on bottom right (then switch back by clicking on "game view").
Those freerolls are really free cash for you...

I'm ok for reading complains but if you start to complain when we offer you money I don't know what to do...

About running a $100 freerolls each 4 hours instead of $25 ones it's not a bad idea but that would make too huge freerolls, they are yet taking hours and include 500 to 800 players... That would make 1000+ players.
I'm more for smaller tournaments, in my opinion a good tournament should have between 200-300 players.

I was not complaining about the $25 freerolls, just making a statement about the way I saw it.

If you think the tourneys take too long, then I respectfully suggest you either limit the number of entrants, or increase the frequency of the blinds raises.

I was for limiting the number of registrations too, the problem is those freerolls are network wide, changes must be agreed by other sites and coders
A new server has been booked, it should arrive in less than 2 weeks in order to remove those annoying lags on biggest freerolls, so for now we will stick on huge ones (there could be a change soon from $25 prize to $50 on all freerolls but nothing sure yet).
