I was in the 1K big tournament, dude next me gets AA of diamonds and hearts. He goes all in. He wins the pot.
Next hand, I get AA of diamonds and hearts. I go all in. I get the pot.

Irony's fun =)

Trick is .. don't go all in. You are putting your whole game at risk to some extent even if someone calls with a poor hand. OK if someone has gone all in and you are sitting there with rockets then call but raise a healthy amount and that should get rid of all the rubbish hands leaving the good hands and those with a slightly dodgy appreciation of maths.

Cheers

Mac

i normally won't go all in preflop unless i'm very short stacked. though my call all in's with either AA or KK. though will give a big raise with both.

after the flop you can make a judgment call on whether the hand is still good.

you got to hate it when some one calls your raise when holding KK then the flop brings Axx because you know if they called the raise there probably holding an Ace.
