About actual poker downtime!

Hi,

we are experiencing a new kind of Dos attack on the game server.
Techs are on it and it was fixed for one server yesterday but they are now hitting other "subnets"...
It could take a few more hours, I'll keep you updated.
We have tracked down the source but their hosting won't push them off directly (crazy but seems some hosting like to support spam...)

Really Sorry for that, I was off yesterday but that does not mean no one is working on that : It's the poker network which is under attack.
Important point : all your personnal datas and accounts are safe, nothing about that.
We will issue refunds and handle stories when everything will be back online (just for info : for now Forums, Raining cards, Outlaws city are working but the trade system won't work in Outlaws city)

i can understand that the site is under attack and that is beyond your control .
i can also understand that everything is being done to fix it and refunds will be given .
What i dont understand is last time this happened the servers were moved and new hi tech firewalls were put in place to make sure this didnt happen again
so it did it happen again and why did the new security features that you paid a fortune for to prevent this happening allow it to happen again ??

Ok, it's been a few more hours since Lava's post--thanks for that, by the way. I hadn't seen it when I raised initial query. Just wondering, are we any nearer to being back on line? Would it be possible for you to come back every 3 hours and give us an update? I know you're busy, but I think everyone would really appreciate it. Thanks again.

That's a very good question! I don't know yet why such attack can pass through the new expensive security system.
I have no clear update so far but I bet it should be back up soon now, in 20 min or max 2 hours due to actual feedbacks (and if there is no hidden issue behind).

Ok, I don't mean to pour cold water on Black Lava...would that give us crystallised lava???...but that 20 minutes more for tables to be down was posted 2 hours ago. Even with the possibility of as much as 2 hours, we should still be back at the tables by now. So...any further updates??? Look forward to hearing from you soon.
