| Hi all. just wondered what everyone thinks?? do you call unless you have an ace or a flush draw??? that is all that seems to be happening here lately, a straight beaten by a flush, 2 pair beaten by a flush, in fact almost everytihng beaten by a flush!!! so do not call unless u got a definate flush ace high!!!! |

| You are not alone in noticing this. It seems that a flush is almost easier to get than three of a kind. I have been beaten so many times and it seems like the last few weeks with straights and flushes. Yet, it seems like the table chip leader gets more than the rest. Maybe that person stays in longer because he/she has more chips to burn knowing that flushes come up frequently. |

| This is not the first post like this I have seen recently, And more often that not they end in people blaming the site script being faulty. This is not the case. There is a simple reason for seeing so many straights and flushes and that is because people will call with anything. Even if you have AA in your hand and you raise 10 times the BB, you know you are going to be called by 85os or 92suited. Its the calls like this that mean whenever there is a possibility of a str8 or a flush, someone has the cards needed to make them.. So, there is no point in complaining about so many flushes or straights coming up.. As the stakes get higher where you are playing, the players will get more serious and these bad calls get less and less frequent. Its no different to going all in with AA and being called by A6 and the flop giving 666 Just another form of bad beats. Goodluck on the tables

| I also noticed the abundance of flushes out there but also noticed a lot of four of a kind lately. Yesterday had four of a kind three times. What is that? Others had it too. What are the odds? |

| totally agree ...fact list of hands is RF, st flush, quads, fh, flush straight etc.. annomally i have never had RF, quads 20 + times ( future had 3 in 1 tourney lately) st flush 2-3 times, fh countless times, flushes all the time. 1. why are quads so common 2. why are flushes every other hand and if not a straight 3. why so many huge hands 4. why is this so different to any poker i have ever watched or played with real cards answers on a postcard to pinkfaerie c/o op66 thank you xxx shirl xxx funny side- true storry- last year in first han of a wombats i got k,q of hearts, 3 hearts came on the flop and i went all in only to lose to an ace , 5 also making flush on the flop...whats the odds also i once beat jazz frogs in heads up tourney on last hand, she had ace high flush , i had straight flush on ly 3 of the suit on the table , another long shot....crazy tables Last edited by pinkfaerie; 05-31-2009 at 05:11 PM.. |

| yet gain it,s trips verses them flushes, would ,nt u believe it pocket 10s a 10 and 2 hearts ,i knew exactly what was on the cards and low and behold we have not one more heart but two,ok rub it in just in case someones only got a individual heart,no easily not the case pocket hearts, not as bad as 5 spades being dealt and three players having pocket spades feel for those guys that lost then not a flush omg,6 players 4 spades in the middle whats the odds no one having a spade well thats what happened they all called and showed hands which some would be a surprise but it happened maybe cause there was no huge bet Last edited by Carmine555; 06-13-2009 at 02:16 AM.. | In my opinion, flushes and straights should rarely be seen. If you are seeing these hands, people are not betting properly. The key is to bet your 2 pair or three of a kind large enough to push players off of their drawing hands. Quit trying to suck players into your 3 of a kind. Bet them out before they have a chance to make that river draw! I have especially noticed this in our OP66 Tourneys. Too many players are sandbagging what should be winning hands. If you have a winning hand at the flop, bet the thing!
