Another tournament cancelled

July 27 06.00 OP Invitational

Once again the invitational was cancelled due to lack of interest. Only 2 of us registered.
Maybe someone needs to make these tournaments more attractive to players?

Why? It's an invitational tourny, not a regular tourny, it doesn't fill every time and never realy has.

The invite tournys have always been the same since they were first started, prize pool has always been dependent on the amount of players, plus there are now 4 a day, when there only used to be 2.

Invites have always been a fun tourny between a few friends or for when someone has booked ie- STL, Monday Blues, nobody has ever seemed to worry about how attractive the tournys are or how big the prize pool is, it's just another game between friends.

My point is no-one is playing them. I read threads from people asking for some of the old tournaments to be set up. Is it not possible to change an invitational into one of the previous tournys not currently being advertised?

i think that would be good me being one of the many tat dont play the invitationals have very little choice at the moment and not many tournaments available to play in
I am really dissapointed

go to lobby,
click on fun tournaments
1st tag is tournaments.

Click there and you see them.

i think the point of the invite tornys is that when thay not booked thay will not run it incureges peplo to set up a torny so if you want a invite torny to run why not crate your own torny then hold it on the invite table ?????

kazzer the links under Daddyseans name are bluff links and not anything at all to do with invite touries. its not a system fault.

As per Daddyseans latest message in the lobby click on fun tournaments tab and you will see the invite tournies.

you do pm the organiser if its a booked one. Or a moderator for the normal one.

Always check the calender to see if its been booked as these are invite only and not open to everyone

I and most of us only ever play them for fun and a get togtther. Fun part has been taken out of them now with people chasing chips
