Question Chips toplists..

OK if we are staying then we need to come up with a way of "re-levelling" the chips toplist.

Its quite clear that with the new structure JediKnight is gonna be at the top for absolutely ages.

Any ideas about how to reset the toplists?

my ideas..

cut every one over 500K by 90% (sort of a one time mega tax just to make BlackLava feel good )

reset everyone to zero.. (the cream will bubble back to the top)

I'm sure there are better ideas .. anyone??

Mac

jedi has less chips than he has had for weeks and noone has been gaining huge chip stacks compared to what they had before.

i dont see why a one-off big chop is needed now..
or do you mean level off people's chips on regular intervals.

but yes without a regular 5 % tax or whatever coming into place then the same people could be at the top for some time while hardly playing.

Hey Cherry I'm only looking for ideas.. let me explain please.

Its just that the way the new site is set up means that the number of chips coming in through bonuses and tourney winnings is much less.. it is set up so that the amount won = the amount put in by the players. The old site was not like that things like the baz-ultra tables gave big chip bonuses (a full table winner got 500K+ whereas the chips in were 660K so each table was adding about 500K chips to the site. This means that the overall chip fortunes will be less and the ability to move quickly (outside of things like KOTH) will be more difficult.

I am sure over time things will find their own level but I think a reset or something is needed.

Maybe we do nothing. personally I don't mind..

Cheers

Mac

yes i was not having a go.. i did not see the point..

aha ok now i see better. and it makes sense to me now why u would suggest a one-off reset or something. i imagine it would cause some uproar tho..

hmmm not sure...
this is one i would love to hear the jedi's opinion on.

Keep it as it is now. No extra 50% for tournaments too easy to gain millions witout been anygood. No 5 % reduction. The 5% reduction means you have to play daily to keep up there. Alot of players cannot do these this. I f you want Jedi Knight off the top then go take him on on the Tables don't be looking for Lava to cut his chips. With the faster play it is good for palyers like me who can play more hands in a shorter time.

I like the play not exactly the set up. But to me its good to play more hands.
