Country based Tournament

Hi all! Could it be possible to arrange a few tournies like baz ultra fast but only a player from a specific country could register(of course with cooperation from all the nice people here) so they can serve as a qualifiying tourney for a big tourney that would involve only 2 players from each country.
The biger ones like The USA or Britain or australia could have only the top ten players(chip count) from that country register for the qualifiying tourney and of course the big tourney would be named World Cup or something! So post your thoughts on this and if one of the mods could answer if this could work would be great! Thx in advance your one and only Mcudlu.

I believe it was I_AM_GOD who organized world cup invational tourney before, but I don't know if it can be set up like the Baz table.

Yup it was God that set it the world cup invite mini..
Really nice idea and it seemed to go well.. love to see another one. I am happy to help with what i can.

But as for having this qualifying.. and then a big tourney etc .. that sounds too complicated. I dont quite get how it could work.

I think best thing is to have upto 10 players like God organised - one representing each country and do it on the invite table.
