| The worst recognised starting hand is 27 off suit. A lot of factors have to be taken into consideration before decideing if you should play or fold your hand. Your position, in relation to the dealer button is of great importance. Often if you are first to act in a hand where there are 9 players seated at a table it is prudent to fold hands that you may choose to raise with if you are last to act. You also need to consider you chip stack size in relation to your opponents. Your question is a good one , but there is a lot to consider before answering it in depth. Anyway welcome to OP66 |

| We all have our favourites I guess , bit I'm not sure if that is good advice to a newcomer though Breezy. 10 6 is a "live hand" and very playable in a heads up situation and would certainly rate as a better starting hand than 72, 82, 92, 10 2,93,94,10 3, 10 4 or 10 5 , J 2, J 3 , J4 , J5 & J6 in a muti handed senario |

lol, that wasn't meant as advice, hun, just stating a fact for me. Each of us have our preferred cards and ones we feel are jinxed. 10 6 just happen to be MY jinx cards....and I think my mother feels 10/6 is jinxed too... ![]() |
