lol, partly the reason i stopped playing for monies lately was for my being lucky... figured I quit before my luck ran out

But anyways, this luck has led to people calling me a donk, and cursing crazy. My AQ beating KK (rivered a third Q after going all-in) caused a guy to lay into me, really abusive, and so naturally I spoke back to him trying to explain how I was not a donk which didn't exactly help his cause lol
On the same night I beat a guy who held AA against my AK, another all-in... I realised I was taking too much liking to hands that were not actually ahead, and it was only luck that was carrying me through.

The last 2 sessions of playing for money, I was called a donk by at least 3 different people... guess I believed them and stopped playing

(by the way these were all on a different site)

In total i'm still up a fair bit more than I've lost, and my style of play is always going to be profitable in the long run (albeit for chicken feed)... so why am I a donk? lol

Is anyone else here bothered by these people? Or has questioned their own play, like I kinda have here

And i am not exactly the kind of person who would question your you judgement on hands like AQ.

dont let them get you down, it takes 2 for an all in at the end of the day

these are sore losers in my book,to all accounts that i can remember,luck is a huge part of this game.I rely on it heavily LOL,your game is just fine im sure Ducky!

Unless they were 4 or 5 betting their hands it can't be clear they have Ks or As, so for all you know you're the best or a toss up with fold equity. YES you got lucky, but far from a donk play.

your definetly not a donk m8,the hands you mentioned are reasonable hands and sometimes it,s gut feelings and reading the game that counts,of course theres a bit of luck in any hand.my opinion a donk is someone who goes allin with say a 9/2 off suit or trys it on hand after hand after hand,shut there chat down play your game m8 and keep winning after all that,s what we are playing for to win,they are just sore losers

its just mind games mate.... bassically you had them in your pocket... ducks reverse phsychology... if they say your playig like a donk because you keep winning, and with premium hands mind, which makes me think they want you to change the way your playing, they obviously want the game to change in their favor. And if someone is playing bad i'd say their playing well, it'll come soon and then put pressure on them hoping ive planted the seed in their mind thinking their game will improve or get lucky and then keep giving me chips

so mate, dont listen to them and get back to playig cash games.

But seriously though your a great player and all the hands mentioned were good hands, and like someone said above it's about gut feeling.. And sure they will get annoyed but don't listen to what they say, don't stop playing because you think your being too lucky!

And maybe so babyjo, but I just felt that my luck was perhaps un-merited?
But saying that, no players' luck is more merited than anyone elses.. My read may not have been 100% correct but the logic behind my play was, at least, perhaps near 100%

So i'm not a donk, just a lucky ducky
But I won't be playing any time soon, what with exams just around the corner bring em on! lolz
