bubbled in hets yesterday and today in the mammoth i need a new tatic. maybe post and fold

When I play in tournaments that last more than an hour, I really do basically use post fold. If the bubble is at say 15 and I am around 12th in chips yet I only have 8 BBs I'll fold hands like AQ suited and pocket 8s very often if I know I'm at a table that likes to call. Depending on the day, I'd rather squeak into the money, knowing others are lower in chips and likely to bust out, than push in as even a 3:1 favorite knowing I might get 2 or 3 callers to call and have me covered. I know you're supposed to play to win, but after enough bubbles you kinda would rather walk away with SOMETHING.

hets was my own fault KP was low stacked and i probably coulda walked into the medals but i over valued AQ suited and gifted pete the medal(no disrespect, not saying he couldnt have made a come back). mammoth was a different story was low stacked and had to chance my high card. board was 44KQQ was hoping baddog was bullying and my ace was enough.
