for me it would be about 15 hands. cuz i hate when people fold too many times in a row. i would rather see them all in every hand then folding

Take one of Michaels posts, read it from the start, by the time you are half way through, I think it is high time to make a call, even if you are still getting rubbish cards.

Depends on many things; how many chips you have, how many opponents, your position on table, how big are the blinds and what you consider a good hand.

Totally agree with this. I do not play a hand unless I think it is good. It may annoy people that I don't play every hand, but to each their own, right?

So given a decent stack what's a playable hand?
Early in a game: I think with small blinds virtually everything is worth a flat call just to see the flop
Mid game: I tend to go face and kicker no smaller than 8, or less if suited, or connected cards - but that also depends on where I'm sitting,
Late in the game: I'm not telling - lol

if the blinds are low, i'll toss in some chips just to remain active. in my opinion, if you wait too long it looks like your waiting for big pockets or A K before you throw in anything. you're less likely to win a sizable pot in those circumstances because i find that players are more reluctant to be aggressive against someone who lurks in the shadows for extended periods of time.(if yours is the winning hand, of course)

for the sake of full disclosure, this advise is coming from someone who's lost about 10mil in 2 days.

I would say generally until u get a good hand, u should fold.

But if ur on a table with mostly tight/conservative players, i would be aggressive pre-flop disregarding what hands u may have. And also if ur chip count is at a dominant stead, if however ur weak in chip count- pick your spot wisely, and go all-in

I personally fold quite often, because i mostly play with good hands, after all, i learned the BASIC game from these 12 words:

BET WITH THE BEST, GOOD DRAW TO INVEST, FOLD ALL THE REST.

But ur game should depend on the scenario, aspects including chip count, position, blinds and betting frequencies.

Be lucky duckies!!!
