Anyone who plays no limit holdem for any length of time, will know what a "bad beat" is,
when someone at the table has far worse starting cards than you and chases against the odds, making their winning hand on the river.

Supposing you have AA and you raise up before the flop. Gingernuts calls you with 4 8 off suit.
The flop comes A 5 J, giving you top set. If you could see his cards, you would know that he has absolutely sod all to look forward to.
Not sure what his chances are of winning this one, but they must be less than 5 percent.

But because Gingernuts doesn't know that,( or doesn't care ) he calls your raise again after the flop.
The turn card is a 7, giving Gingernuts 4578, an inside straight draw...
You bet again, this time bigger, to try and throw him off. But Gingernuts isn't going to give up now...
he only needs a 6 to make his straight, and he might even be thinking that you are bluffing him with nothing.
So he calls your big bet, ( no one ever told him not to draw to an inside straight), and guess what?
Despite the fact that it was a 10 to 1 shot, he hits his 6 on the river.

Painful for you.
You really want to tell him what an idiot, or a "Donk" he was for betting on that hand in the first place.
Maybe even telling him to stick his gingernuts in a food blender.
Let it go.
Gingernuts made a mistake and got lucky, but he's entitled to play any way he wants.
Never cry over bad beats. They're as much a part of the game as lucky flops and good bluffs.


If you get too emotional about losing, then you're probably playing in buyins higher than you can afford.
Short term, you also run the risk of going on tilt and thinking ' if he can win with those hands, so can I.'
This is a sure way to lose the rest of your hard-earned.
Let Gingernuts go away thinking that those hands happen far more than they actually do.
Don't clue him in, let him believe it.
In the long term, you will make a nice profit on players like Gingernuts.

only thing tho Gingernuts calls every time i have say poc AA or KK and i hit the set on the flop that dumbass calls me every fekkin time. thats why for the 6th month in a row i still have a 0 balance free chips. u see Gingernuts has multiple accounts and can call your hand with a pocket ful of nuts and bolts and beat u EVERY SINGLE TIME. doesn't matter what the buy in. he'll be there on the table waiting for some1 to bet out with an obvious huge hand,,, so he can hit his 1 out hand. piss on the dumbass.
