Bad luck mate, would have been nice. I'm going to try for a hattrick in Wombats. Just managed to get Hets and NY. I know it won't happen but will be fun trying.

gl stevo...it would be great...i had a hatrick podium chance after getting silver in wombats and in hets and Ny i was chip leader with a comfortable margin really needless play of those hands when you come to think of it,on the face of it should have won those hands but its poker cant win em all..so truly to achieve a hattrick will need a lot of good play and certain element of luck but it would show remarkable consistency..you have it..so good luck m8 and go for it!!!...god bless

Thanks Jazz but I think your giving me too much credit lol. Thinking about it I'm not sure it would be a true hattrick. BC came between Hets and NY and I didn't play that. It would be my third consecutive OP tourney though so maybe? Either way I guess it's irrelevant unless I was lucky enough to do it.

Sorry about intruding in the middle, but I was fortunate enough to win the Crown in between... and what a game it was... 3 hours, 8 minutes. A tremendous final table (aren't they all???).

A hearty congrats to Shezzabell, who finished 4th... to Crinkle, who was very low-stacked at one point and battled mightily to a strong 3rd place finish. And to Dav77, what can I say --- I wish I had looked at the time when we started our heads-up play... on a couple of occasions, I had him short-stacked (50k to 12k) but he kept battling back, and had a chip advantage for a while. A fierce battle to the end... very well played!
