what do u think ! ive had great cards in one seat and had great luck in another but made my own luck off other players
so being a good player comes down to what?

The less skill you have to more you have to rely on pure luck.

Daniel Negreanu says that he beats the best internet players by quickly studying how they play to recognize their patterns. He then exploits them. They just think that they are having an ‘unlucky day’, but in reality they are being outplayed.

After saying all the above, yes I do have favorite seats. (I am not anywhere close to even thinking or dreaming that I am as good as a Daniel Negreanu .)

i think that being in a certain seat can and may make the diff as far as getting cards that are winning hands and i also believe that luck is a big part of this game because it is a game of chance and with chance there is definitly luck involved BUT there is also definitly skill involved i mean you have to know when to bet and when to fold and what to bet as far as who is betting what and what cards are flipped up and what cards you have and what cards migght your opponent potentially have and other factors come into play as well when the skill part of the hand comes into play. NOW i am not bragging but i am currently in the top 30 on every single top list here and i have been in the top 30 for 3 months now and i didnt go check this but i dont think that any other member on this site can claim that and no member that ever played here can claim that and i am just stating that(not bragging) because since i am in the top 30 on all lists (well not the ladies list and the newcomers lol) then my strategys must be working and being in the top 30 on those lists for so long anhd being the only member to ever do so is proof that i probably know what im talking about when i stated all of the things that i stated about getting in the right seat and the luck and the skill factors

the seat is a small part of poker luck is the same thing as the seat knowlage and paishance plays the biggest part of the game you can win with bad cards if you know how to play the person although on free poker sites it is a lot harder to do.

Of course luck has a part in poker. as in any card game or many other things, but you dont make wagers based upon luck ! nor would you place bets based upon superstition. if you do, then you sure as hell do need luck lol. However, there is one important aspect that may, or may not come under the heading of Knowledge, and that is OBSERVATION. Knowing what to look out for !! Again. for those 3 that voted option 1 and 2, I say to you.... "Good LUCK"

By saying seat, do you mean 'position' of the table? Not just the lucki chair or something.

Having position on the table, see-ing who's around you and playing accordingly to betting frequencies is knowledge to me, and luck doesn't make great players- just makes people money!

a gd seat wif nice soft padding n loads n loads of luck for me cos the river hates me LOL ....u dont need skills if ya playing at All In Table...jest luck, luck ,luck !!!!
