Default Hey mates..i need some advice for cash games :)

Hey all! Started playing on real money side over the past week, doing well on about $30 with no deposit butta....
I have no idea which games to play? Any advice?
Been doing well in outlaws and have been on 10/20c rings and generally double up a few dollars..but after that im totally lost...
Im quite happy taking baby steps for now, because im playing my best game but is there any tables or torneys you find you do well from? I look at torney freeroll lists and my head just starts to spin
Cheers all!

i like the 1/3/5 dollar 6 seat double up sit n go tables, eg, $5.5 fee, win $10 if placed in top 3. just play real tight, and you should place as standard isn't too great alot of the time, especialy the $1 and $3 tables...

i generally play the 6 player "double up" sngs, you only need to finish in top 3 to double your buy-in fee....

The freeze-out tournies are good ulti, i try to avoid the rebuys as they can be a bit of a pain. I think there is a $100GNTD freeze-out for $1 buy-in. Look out for it, you get a good game and the return is quite good.

Bankroll management. Try not to spend more than 20% of what you hold in you account. If you deposit $10 play the 10c 20c and 50c games , move up to the $1 and $2 when you have accumulated $20 etc.

Its a hard discipline to stick to but many players fall foul of bad bankroll management gambling their entire account on a tourney hoping that they can get a quick double up.

well with only $30 in ur account its difficult to stick to bankroll management when playing cash games.
on the cash tables make sure u have 20 buyings for the stake ur playing at..
i.e $0.05/$0.10c table u need $200 in ur account as the max buy in is $10.. $0.10/$0.20 tables u need $400 as the max buy in is $20 and so on . most pro's use this style of bankroll management.
so if i was u id stick to low freezout tourneys/SNGs and try to build ur bankroll up b4 playing the cash tables.

the 50 cent freeze out and the hundred dollar guarenteed are good cash tourneys. I also like the 6 seat double up sngs. I like the 10cent rebuy tourney fairly well although its a little wilder than freezeout and some people rebuy many times but that builds the prize pool nicely. I find the 1 and 2 cent blind ring games are better than u would expect ive seen some fine poker played on these tables I even won over 10 bucks one nite on the 1 and 2 cent tables.

Everyone has already put in the best recommendations... the 1-3-5 dollar double-up's are great... as stated, tight play, and you should cash at least 85 - 90% of the time... tourney-wise, I've learned to avoid the re-buy's / add-on's... if you are in one and have a decent start, it can be sweet, though, as the pots really grow... a mediocre to bad start can get expensive. Freeze-outs are close to what we're used to w/ the OP's, perhaps comparable in quality to playing the weekly mammoth. As for the rings... if you have patience, there is a lot of opportunity there (it's where I've built up my PP base the most).

Personally, I went through a rather long cold streak on the cash side... cost me more than a 1/3 of my bankroll... I've since recovered about 20% of what I've lost, with my best success undoubtedly coming on the 6-seat double-ups (best being the $3 and $5).

Best of luck, Ulti.
