OK HERE GOES.....I THINK MY WEAKNESS IS THAT I FIND IT TOO DIFFICULT TO SHRUG OFF LOSING A BIG POT TO A PLAYER WHO HAS MADE A SHOCKINGLY BAD CALL THAT GOES AGAINST ALL POKER CONVENTION AND THE RED MIST CAN AND DOES DESCEND.

AS FOR MY STRENGTH....I'D SAY IT'S MY ABILITY TO THROW AWAY A VERY GOOD HAND WHEN THE BETTING AND QUALITY OF MY OPPONENT SUGGESTS THAT VERY GOOD AINT GOOD ENOUGH.

ooohhh tidds...a boozed up donkey and a total bully when i meet him on the tables

very strong player, but goes a bit OTT with his raises and therefore makes his bluffs obvious one scary man...but glad that he can at least play these days

me: ok at getting the chips, poo at keeping hold of them...way too impatient to play with the tiddlywinks of this site

yep my bestest friend but she didn't teach me how to play poker........maybe she shudda lol
when she hits a hand she plays it well and makes the most of it gaining as many chips as possible
however she lacks the patience to play in slow tight games, bores easily and pushes with crap to get some action
also she likes to distract players with her banter

me, hmmmmm, I do have the patience to wait for a good hand although I lack the confidence to make the most of it, preferring to win the hand regardless of the amount of chips, I deffo need to improve here!

ah i got betts, what can I say, with her u never know what she is thinking, plays what she has, not a good bluffer, but u can never count her down and out. Just when u think u have her , she comes back to bite ya. Never take her for granted, good solid all around player.

me hmmm at most times, I don't have the patience to wait for a decent hand and tend to chase when I shouldn't but if I am betting u better know that I have what i think is the top hand. Hate the constant bluffers but getting to know them well.I don't bluff a lot ok maybe on a head to head.Won gold in hetmans last week and never bluffed a hand except on final table when one on one. I also don't have patience with the tiddlywinks here but jimmy is also one of the best.

Rad wow. Well Your very good all round actually and cause me some problems sometimes. If I see you on the table I have to change play, because you won't stand for any of my bluffing shenanigans .
However sometimes you don't follow through well enough or notice when you can steal the pot. but I guess that comes down to you not wanting to bluff. One example that comes to mind is from about 2-3 months back, you raised preflop, I called, you checked the flop I put out a feeler bet because I thought you were ready to check raise my a$$ .. but you folded, the raise would have knocked me off the pot.

I like the thread hope no one takes it too personally lol .

Oh and my strengths. Um I like to think I'm good at controlling the pot and playing a hand to it's full potential. I fall short however when I know I'm behind but I'm too pig headed to the hand go. You know the times? the times you got KK you raised huge, a known donkey has called you. 1 solitary ace sits on the board staring at you and then he goes all in ¬¬.

Tb1rd you are a great player and sometimes you just have to go with the gut that way you wont get knocked off that pot. Being behind should not be seen as a disadvantage I often wait and wait to pounce as Betty said patience is a valuable asset in poker plus if your not in every hand no one knows what the hell youve got so easier to bluff

My strength I would say is my gut feeling and my weakness is that since playing real money ive become over aggressive in the hope that i can make others fold but doing it with silly hands.

many a good game against cuddy very tight player but can be very aggressive hard to read,weakness i would say is you can catch cuddy early in a tourny if you do take her down because she is normaly there at the end

cant really comment on tel or anyone else for that matter as i am normally playin 3 or 4 games at once, or spamming the forum lol so dont really concentrate on reading people or anything like that lol thats prob why i hardly ever win anything

I would say my weakness is i get bored very easily if i am not getting good hands, i have no patience plus multi-tabling doesnt help either

I hear ya tony i am the same way, hard to sit with your finger on the fold or check button for 10 hands before a good one shows. Think u are a bit tight in your playing O as i am so we must work on that. Do find u are a good mixer though and all round solid player.

Ok my weakness is I get bored and distracted so decide to make big raise with nothing and continue to bet with nothing........usually make these plays in the early stages of tourneys.........and on ring tables I win loads then decide to play bingo..........strengths are .........after blowing out I switch my lap top off

hmmm crinks its hard to say as ive only met her a few times at the table but from what ive seen u are a good solid player but i see u min bet/raise alot and think u need to be more aggressive with ur bets/raises to accumulate more chips..

I've only seen you a few times Dean but on those occasions I've found you very hard to read. Maybe that might change if I played you more often.

My game was too predictable (and maybe still is, you tell me) but lately it's been too inconsistent. For the last two months my game has been all over the place because I've been trying out different things I've read. It hasn't been too rewarding as far as results go but hopefully I'm learning from it.

I still find it hard to fold once I've committed a decent amount of chips to a pot.

I still bluff too often but do it much less often than I used to.

I need to learn how to effectively shut a hand down when I think I'm on top, without throwing too many chips at it.

I still slow play hands too much sometimes hoping to build a bigger pot, only to let another player make their hand and beat me. I think that's called greed LOL

I'm learning about the importance of position but have had quite a few good hand wins from late position of late, with very marginal hands and complete dud hands.

I'm trying to play the player sometimes, rather than the cards, depending who it is though.

I see too many flops, used see too few but now I've gone the other way, need to adjust my range of pre flop calling hands a bit (fewer), but depending on position to.

I've been playing for about 18 months and still have heaps to learn. Tell me what you think and don't hold back. All critiscism can be constructive in someway.

stevo i think sometimes you say to yourself stuff it i'll go for it when u have a good hand rather than a great hand(sometimes) other time i'm sure ur sitting on cards lol

As for me i think i have a game to challenge any1 at time most other time i play to tight or make crazy bets play stupid get bored will bet big pre flop etc etc etc etc here wait a min maybe i dont have that great a game maybe i'm just lucky then but seems like for the last 3 weeks my luck has run low

Ok My thoughts on Roly...

I think he is a much better player than he thinks he is but there is a tendancy to let the bad beats really affect his judgement on subsequent hands.

As far as my own game , I find I often get to the latter stages of tourneys but end up getting blinded out because I have waited too long to make a move.

im not one to judge anyone as a player as i still have loads to learn about the game but jock i do know that the hands you choose to play you play extremely well and i'm always on my guard when in the same pot.

my game i can sum up in 4 words.......all over the place

Hmm "Norwichrich" let me see, strengths, starting to read the game very well and I would also say his bluffing ability is good when needed. His all round game is taking shape and he is not to be underestimated or you will pay the concequences. Weakness or weaknesses I think he needs to be a bit more patient, as he tends to over-raise at times like me You can bluff him but be assured he is very aware and alert to this play, so do so at your own risk.


My own game is very erratic at the moment so please help yourself I wont be offended. Steve.
