Default Important!!!!!!!

I m sorry but there is 1 thing i would like to tell here and i want to know ur oppinion about it!! i was playing mammoth and after 36 hands there was 7 flushes 3 full houses and 3 str8s
so 36 hands and 13 of thenm ended at least with a str8!!! theese are the hands which were opened< most of the hands ended b4 the river (every 1 fold)
dont u think is a bit too much???or i was playing twisted mammoth after 8 hands there was 1 straight flush 1 four of a kind 3 full houses and 2 flushes!!!

8 hands in the beginning of mini tourney 1 straight flush 1 four of a kind 3 full houses and 2 flushes!!
AM i the only 1 who find it strange????

I have been here for just over a month but have played my fair share of games. I have casually remarked on numerous ocassions that some of the occurances I have noticed while playing here is nothing short of phenomenal -

1) In a 1 vs 1 all-in situation (from a poker calcualtor I used), a pair (ANY pair) should have the advantage over a non-pair (Yes, even 22 vs AK) in 99% of the time, but from the thousands of such hands I have witnessed, I have noticed that the pair came out a winner ONLY about 2 out of 10 hands. Incredible.

2) How many times have you seen a 1 vs 1 all-in, and the 'lousier' hand won? From my observation, definitely more than 50% of the time. Again, this is over hundreds and hundreds of hands I'hv witnessed. Unbelivable.

3) The number of times the Ace or King (esp the A) appear on the board.. well, thats just mind-boggling.

Maybe, just MAYBE, it's the way the software is programmed. MAYBE, just MAYBE, it's a way to entice people to play the game. (I mean, you can imagine people getting bored if they were to play for hours and the best hand anyone got was a double-pair..)

It defies logic. It defies the law of averages. It defies... Maths.

Peace,
JediKnight

I have had a similar experience. One tourney about a month ago, I had about 5 full houses,2 straights and 3 flushes. I was amazed, also. Never seen it before either, or after!!!

The cards are dealt randomly by the program that deals the cards (there is a technical term for this but I can't remember what it is called)This is just one of those lucky things that sometimes happens in playing cards, just go to Vegas and ask, Yes, it happens there after so many millions of deals it is bound to happen eventually.
There was no cheating or choosing who would recieve the best hands, just a few lucky people in the right place.
No one has mentioned if this happened at a full table or one with three or four players. The fuller the table the better the chance of getting the Great hands, I don't know why, but statistically that is what happens.
Congradulations to those of you who got the Great hands and Good Luck to all of the rest of us.
I just wish I had been at that table in one of the Lucky seats.

ok mr JediKnight http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_odds/texas_holdem
here is calculator link whick says that 22 vs AK is 52.75% vs 46.67 which sounds like 50/ 50 rather then 99.90% isnt it?
Ps i m not complaning that i loose it < no i came 2nd and get 2 mil 4 it . but thats not the point
u played real game with friends or in casinos? if u did u know that flush 4 example v rear appear 7 times within 20 hands!!!
