you can never predict the unpredictable. I have sat on high rollers and won comfortably with consistently decent hands or i went down to lower tables and had nothing short of an embarrasment dealt to me

random selection is the process which is used by the program that deals the cards. the dealer knows exactly which cards will be deaqlt to each seat before the cards are dealt. but the people who are sitting in the seats can change who will win the hand by folding and betting others out so in that respect the dealer cannot cheat but i will bet that the dealer can be programmed to deal good hands on this side that will not appear as much on the money side. and i am in no way implying that that is what is going on here i am just telling the truth that it is possible if you are a programmer to do such a thing. ill bet that it is a tedious and difficult task to program the software to do that but it can be done. but in all the years that i have been playing in live in person games i have never seen the kind of 5 card hands show up like they do here. ive seen 3 flushes in one hand with 8 or 9 people dealt in and that it just about impossible to happen but it did. i dont know what that means and im not saying that there something funny going on like maybe the site conning people into thinking that in a real money game this sort of thing will happen as to get them to play with real money thinking that strs and flushes and boats will appear as much as they do here i am just saying that it is possible for that to happen through programming

I agree some things on this site seem fishy, especially flushes. On this site it actually seems to be a smart play to call anything when you have a flush draw, as it seems to hit like 70% of the time. That is the biggest flaw that I see here.

Safed, If these had been your hands instead of someone elses, would this thread even be on here? No offense of course, just curious.

Safed already answered that. He won 2nd place and 2 mils.

But back no the subj:

I've seen many random selection algorythms. Things that happens here have no way to do with those algorythms. I've played in real life about 4 years - and never even saw a Four of a Kind, only 1 Straight-Flush and only one Royal. Here I had a str8-flush, about 5 four of a kind, about 30 (!!!) Full Houses in 2 weeks. And that was only in my hands. I cant count how many flushes i saw or have - too many to be true.

There MUST be something wrong about the free tables. Neither luck, neither skill.

Its inevitable you will see more better hands playing online with free chips, as everyone plays a much looser game, so there are more players looking at the flop, turn and river.

9 5 suited will be played here, whereas in a real money game it is going to get folded.

I have no doubt that the deal is as random as is possible on a computer and it is only the frequency of players calling that produces more 'good' hands than you would see in a real game.

Get a grip.

Maybe number of guys who called affect the result. But NOT THAT MUCH. I've played with looser players in real life - saw a lot of deals with 5-8 people called to river. Most of the times it was pair, 2 pairs less likely. Other hands - just as they're going in hierarchy.

Last night played a cash game at a local club; first four hands were won by 2 flushes, a straight and a full house. Later quad aces were hit on the flop (not by me!!)

The site will use an RNG (Random Number Generator). It is NOT random, it only tries to emulate it by starting off with a base number and going through a few sets of calculations to come up with what is apparently a random number.

This paves the way for 'surreal' hands to occur, but it shouldn't happen too often unless they're is an error in the programming. (And if there was you'd probably see other errors too, like no cards being dealt or a pair beating a straight)
