I think we have already seen that having a sepearate password for individual tourneys is not the solution either as it tends to be passed on anyway.

I'm thankful now, but at the time I really thought an extremely short ban would have solved the problem, AND I was willing to be the proverbial sacrificial goat.

Maybe this isn't really an option. I only play here. The moderator team and BlackLava know an awful lot more than I ever will. Please, mods, could this be considered? Gatecrashers really are a huge problem to this event.

A ban will only post and fold a player until game ends and removed at games end.

Aus,I did say we would not play because of the lack of effort from the staff/mod side to try and make the International series as secure and enjoyable as possible...The fact that you are posting on here and trying to help shows us that our "protest" has not gone unnoticed..I was lead to believe that the international series was going to be prioritised for some sort of secure fix..I was also lead to believe that a Moderator could infact remove any player from a table even when a game has commence..If this is not the case,then I do apologise..From a players point of view,Iam sure you understand that this is a tourny that everyone takes great pride in and also enjoy playing.Even if gate crashers post and fold the table is split and taking the enjoyment side of things aside,some players will be at a disavantage..It is not a nice feeling to have left your team mates down and no player wants to go out early in this tourny...I know passwords are not 100% affective,but if this is all we can get then we will take it..Could we not have the International series clearly shown on the log in box instead of invite...Any help at all from the mod team would be so much appreciated by all the players.............

this could only be done by the progammers/ tournament manager not us, and the problem being that it is not a permanent fixture (game) meaning its not same time same day same week etc: as the likes of OP tourneys/ladies/stl

which means it would all have to be done manually, not sure how much work is involved maybe lava would know more, but probably same as it would be for a differnt password

The teams confirmed so far are listed on the original thread..Scotland B (Bravehearts),Ireland B (Tigers),Austrailia and England A..The Ireland A team is picked and we are all meeting later today in Declans pub to get our mental faculties sorted and if I can type with broken fingers later this evening we will confirm that we will be playing....Iam not sure if we have a referee/score keeper for this One so if anyone would be interested in giving some time on this it would be appreciated....
