will op66 be saved and return to the old script?

or will we forever be doomed to the new?

I honestly think that Future's vids were the truth told to us in comedic form to lighten the blow a bit. Friday will come and go and things will remain the same. The forum will be filled with many angry and sad ppl saying their goodbyes and cursing the new script. I myself hope for the best but am prepared for the worse. My black suit and shirt are pressed and my shovel is ready for tomorrow's service.

that is basically what ive been thinking minus all the drama

the new script seems to thought out to have only been a test run

so while i really do wish it back, I dont think it will be

Agree that the new script was better, but also agree that the lag was getting worse and worse. Some games like twisted and BAZ were becoming impossible.
I really hope that something close to the old script is returned to us, but I can appreciate the difficulties of running these sites and keeping everyone happy.

i've been here on OP66 now for nearly 6 months now

i've had some wonderful times and have got great memories here......and of course when i think of these i remember the OLD site (script)

i really love the old table's, the people and almost everything that the old site was, the only thing that was a problem was the bugs (flying chips,pots stuck and the dredded lag)

so clearly my heart still wants the OLD OP66 back......

during the 6 months i've played my poker here the tables and players have increased dramatically and it is quite obvious that this growth on the old server is unsastainable, and must be very close to overload now...so in other words the old server/script would grind to a halt sooner or later with increased players/tables...


looking at this in a rational perspective then my head says the NEW sript is really the only way forward,

ok it's not yet what most of us have come to love as OP66, but look how hard Lava has worked these last few days to try and make this more like the place we all love (and miss)

i have every faith that in time..... we can get there...if we all pull in the same direction...

in an ideal world, if we do end up on the new script,
i would really like to see the old script still running some tables (maybe classic OP66)

this though i expect would defeat the object of the exercise because of the extra costs involved to run both sides.

i for 1 would play the old tables as well as the new 1's

I will prob never leave the forum .... but havnt got the passion for poker on the new site . Not saying i will never play but i know the way i am atm , just dont have that warm fuzzy feeling i did . I understand and DO appreciate the work Blacklava has put in here , im just still devistated i lost my second home and ALOT of my friends .

if server was so bad on old 1 why not less tables or new script 2 look as sameas old the chat is bad in new 1 i am a slow typer by the time i start typin it on2 my turn as i keepsayin knew 1 hurts ma eyes & i get headaches why old 1 did not do that 2 me hope no more sad days ahead bring bk oldpoker66

Not a fan of the new script.
Do appreciate all of Blacklavas efforts.
In an ideal world maybe new script with some of the old features. i.e. the window telling me my hand, a flashing player instead of the arrow, move from player to player just a little slower, display the winning hand for a bit longer and just to make us feel at home throw in a slightly dirty carpet for good measure.
There are a lot of good things about the new script but I do think over all it is a bit less user friendly, especially for less experienced players.
One other thing, the old tourneys gave a better range to choose from.

Stevo Lava has already said earlier that hand box help isnt coming back ...................i miss some hands without that lol...........

I said I'm not for that, but I've specified elsewhere than we could check if such feature could be an on/off option.
It's on the todo list, just that there are tons of priorities ranked higher than that.

I am sorry Lava i didnt see that..... its just your earlier thread said.... "sorry but the hand window wont be back, reading the board and your cards isn"t that bad".....but sounds good tho as on/off feature for future ............
