Member of the Month

With all this credit things etc How abouts we start a member of the month.....
We could all nominate a member each month and the mods get to choose the fairest and best player based on chips,
posted threads etc.....??
They maybe could get a certain tourney named after them for the month ?? and a t-shirt ?? or something ???

Do you realize how many members there are on the forum.

First you would have to find out who could nominated, all members?.
Second the nominee could not have been banned for any reason.
Third how many are going to be nominated per month?
Fourth when do nominations start and end?
Fifth what happens if a person declines the nomination?
Sixth whats in it for the nominees?

The list goes on and on....

i guess u really have to think these things through

It is highly do-able. For example;

The moderators choose three candidates on the first/2nd day of the month based on the candidates helpfullness or what not in the previous month.
IE (If GriceyT has been really helpful in July, then on August 1st/2nd he would be one of the three nominees)

A thread is set up in whatever sub-section with a poll involved, running for a week.

Winner gets member of the month. Nothing really in it for the winner, just a bit of pride.



Maybe not perfect, but shows that the idea could be achieved with little extra work

Oh I never said it wasn't do able, just that there are alot of different things that are involved that must be considered. I think its a good idea.

Should be remembered that most new concepts have their problems too. If it's decided it is workable then the problems should be looked at on how to solve them, rather than how it stalls the development.
