If they say poker has skill and luck i would say that the ultra fasts are
70% luck 30% skill. Its to fast and in your face to have skill be the grater of the 2.

I dont know play 10 of them. Count how many times you come in the money. Then try to remember if you won with solid hands the whole time.
Its just not possible for there to be more skill involved is a tourny that can end in 10 min.

pokertank is my bro and is 2 gd :S, and he wins alot with the mini-tourney's so i wanted 2 c if u guys thought it is because he is actually good, or if he is just lucky

Im sure he's a solid player im not saying he's not but im telling you its just to fast pace to be mostly skill. He is just getting the right cards at the right time. It will swing to you just give it time.
I played in 4 of the 66k bazultras last night and finished 1st in 1 2nd in another and 3rd in another and the 9th,lol

Depends on what your staying in with and at what point of the game this is happening. If you can command a lead early of course your chances are greater to win the game.
Seems I have been seeing players staying in with lousy hands all the way thru and then wondering why they are not winning. There is a thread here that suggest what you should be staying in with & the amount to bet, that thread is:

Well this game is alot of luck cause i have noticed that lately worse hand wins every time like my AQ loses to A 2 and i saw a hand were an A 9 beat AJ suited i mean i could go on forever from just today, so kinda irritating

And that never happens on the other tables? you have time to decide what to do ,fold or call , Yes there is an element of luck thats the nature of the game , but I would much rather play the turbos & ultras than sit there for ages waiting & waiting only to have someone fold before the flop , surely ,most of the time ,you know whether you have a hand to play or fold as soon as they are dealt ,or after someone has bet more than the value of your cards ,

There are people who win continually on all tables, even ultra-fasts. They don't necessarily have the better luck, they're probably just more experienced and as such know when to fold, call or bet depending on learnt probabilities.
A few of us can also calculate our pot odds in six seconds - it is possible whether you believe it or not.
