ok, i'm gunna stick my neck on the line and speak up for us meek and lowly ever-so-faithful-to-your-site poker players..and i know i may get warned/banned or whatever but to be honest, something needs to be put forward on behalf of all op66 FREESIDE members. the overall impression of the changeover has not had a positive effect, surely this is obvious by the negative threads we have all written and answered to..so, here is my question, DIRECTLY aimed at Mr blacklava, Bass, Tex and any other 'moderator' who has in the past been there to help us when we needed them...a direct answer if you please..is this thing permanent? there has been a poll created about this script change, NO ONE is happy with what has happened, if this is to be permanent then please have the decency to let us know..thank you.

What's sure is that if we're seeing lags there we will be back to the actual system...
Afterward, in case we do not see lags anymore, a vote is a good idea for sure but it's like for every new things : Players will vote no because of the change. I bet we will hit a poll but not directly tomorrow (to let people have a real objective point I bet it won't be before monday).
I will have to state on the bandwitch usage difference too, as I said that new script is lighter and it means a lighter cost for website.

The people are talking and not happy so many are lost ,it was done with no warning ,and thought,please make it go back to a happy easy one click your on site ,so we can have fun and see our cards .Why wait ? Is it for money or free .Time to fix it ,a lot of good people are crying out ,so???

Please everyone as mods we are in the same boat as you all....all I can say is give Lava a chance to test this script thing and be patient, Lava is not one to ignore the voices and all posts would have been noted, so please just sit tight and let him do the testing. Thanks

sally i agree with you i dont like the new site and as far as lagging it lags too it hasnt been quite as bad but it dose have lagging the format is what i dont like and it isnt set up for any real socializeing witch is mostly why i played here as apposed to other sites

Look Lava - if its all to do with money??? Im sure everyone would agree with me here - we would all pay a £10 entrance fee that would do us a years membership if we all got the old site back and all our old friends back.... Do you not understand that we miss them and have built up a friendship with people from all over the world!! There is no way you are gonna force all the free site people to pay after they have their 3 free resets per day - it aint gonna happen. If the old site comes back we would all pay a ten spot each for a years memebership with the bugs and laggs and everything - we just want our home back - you've taken it away from us and without warning!!!!!!!!

OK I have read enough that I am going to throw my two cents worth in here and hope that if it has any impact, I will not have to post it to every other thread.

At the current moment, as I understand it, this is a test. In an effort to provide a stable environment, without lags, kick outs, lost connections and all the other bothersome elements that we have been discussing at length, Lava instituted a test of the real side scripts.

I have not read anything that currently indicates that this is a permanent change, but the feeling in the forum (as I have read so far) seems significantly slanted to the old script.

As a long term player I have greatly enjoyed this site and the people on it. As a moderator I have to say that I am disappointed in how we are presenting ourselves to the new players next door. We love to praise each other for how open to new members we are, how much of a community we are, how friendly we are to newbies. From what I have read so far that is not how we are acting. We are acting as a members only club who have been forced to accept some less than acceptable members. We are better than that, I know because I have had some great interactions with all of you, even those who I have banned or warned have turned out to be some of the most excellent people, once we got past this immediate issue. Are we so convinced of our own superiority that we are not willing to grow and learn from another source?

In the past whenever a change to the site has occurred (an they have all proven to be positive after some time to adjust) there has been an outcry from our forum to stand still and not fix those things that have been asked over and over again to fix. This may, or may not be the same thing again, I have not made my own mind up yet as to how I feel about the new scripts and environment.

I would ask that you be patient, explore the new environment with an open mind and make your own decisions.

I will of course present whatever comments you have made to me personally in my own style and support Lava in whatever the final administrative decision is with regards to OP66 and The Forum.

i understand wat u just said but id say 60%of ppl can not bring there chips over to new side and i know its a test but ppl cant play on new side to find out what its like with no chips there lol and cant even get an answer of anybody what to do when it said no named user no old account...
