I cant sweep at all. I got close once, but that's it. The last thing I learned was tapping. I love doing that, like in the intro for Lip Gloss and Black by Atreyu. I can do some arpeggios (however you spell it) like the solo for Fade To Black by Metallica. I'm self taught so I really don't know what is what, I just play to play.

yeah i know what your saying about th self taught thing
thing is i have to use tab XD.. cant do it by ear, i think the last sweepy thing i learned was pull harder by trivium...notthe solo.. but the "its our curse..." part

lately ive been playing more of the bass though, ive always been a fan of ryan martini from mudvayne, so iplay all the mudvayne stuff on the bass

I wish I had guitar pro on my laptop. I learned a lot with that program. I go through my phases at times, so I learn different things. The last three phases I went through was power metal, then metalcore/hardcore, and then the misfits.
