My poker story

Just thought id shair a little poker story from my weekend
saterday i set off for 1 of my mounthly poker tornys thats about a hour and a half drive its a £77 entry knock out setup with low blinds to start and normaly atracts about 160 players and takes around 9 to 11 hours to run its course.

So after making the trip you can understaned my frustration / dispointment at being alimanated 40 minits in after lossing in 2 big hands and finaly busting out when i hit a fh with my pocket Q's only to lose to someone with quods.

Now as you can imagen at this point i was pritty hacked off and could of quite ezaly of just stormed off and gone home (and if it was closer to home i probably would of done lol) but as id made the trip i thought i might as well try to make a day of it so i joind 1 of the cash tables thinking id play for a fuw hours then head home.

Now i joind the table with £100 thinking id stop and head home after a fuw hours or if i lost that or tripeled up but well you know how it is when you get ingrossed in a game and i was well ingrossed in this one within a hour as i seemed to be hitting just about evry hand so when i hit £300 after about a hour and a half i didnt stop playing like i said i would but carryed on saying to myself well im having a good game and im still at the point the most i can lose is the £100 i started with

now over the sestion i only seem to remember losing 4 or 5 big hands all day but was steadaly winning at quite a good rate but after about 3 or 4 hours id lost count of what chips i had in frount of me and was just playing the hands i got with out realy thinking where i was with my backroll so you can imagen my dilight when after about 9 hours play when tiedness started to get the better of me i chiped up and found i had ternd my £100 in to £3420 and headed home a very happy roo.

I gess the main point to this is yes we all have our bad runs like i did in the main torny i went to play but if you belive in your game and trust your jugement stick with it and the bad run can only tern around at some point ;o)

Well ive started playing money tournies at my local hotel and after 5 weeks I happy to say i have won 2 and a 3rd only small compared to u but im up $500 . It also puts me into large tournie in sept.

lol good Question cap and you may or may not be saprised to here i do still play 6-9 with in my real money play admitedly i dont play it quite as agresivly as i would online but tend to limp into small pots with it or use it to make a play with in a low action pot .. I think the main reson i still play this hand even in a real game is because i know i get a real fisical reaction when im dealt 69 the same way i do when i get AA or KK so why not use the adrelaning it creatas lol

i just got back from comit with 3 i pads , 2 i phones , a camcorder , a camra , a dab radio for the kitchen and a new hover and i think the shop asistent now thinks i won the lottary lol but hay its not evry day i can aford to treat myself and the ladys in my life so why not ;o)
