negativity abounds

I have played on this site for quite sometime now.Been through 3 script changes and played a ton of poker,met alot of great people,and mostly have enjoyed all of it.There seems to be a growing number of long term players who are very dissatisfied with the way the site is now,

I do understand about the hassles of tech problems that have been going on.I have had quite a few myself,but seem to eventually work them out.

I have seen phrases used in threads such as (sad state of affairs)(going down hill)and the all to familiar "Back in the good old days"I can remember some of the good old days as well

I remember waiting 5 to 8 mins to play one lousy hand of poker because lag was bad.
I remember goofy little cartoon people sittin round a table with no avatars
I remember loads of abuse being hurled at people from pit bull players...AWWWWWWW Yes the good old days

In the last month I have been fortunate enough to play some outstanding poker with some outstanding players,two games that come to mind was one recent with ST Jimmy I lost the heads up with him but had the time of my life tryin to figure him out

The other was with King Pete,where he had me literally buried and I was able to come back for the win.

So for me folks,I wish to express that I like the site! Its great fun for me.And Lord willing hope to be here for a long time.I hope those who want to leave will stay!I have been through the whole Quit thing myself before.Im really glad I didnt quit.

cuz your right and the hassles are worth the rewards!!!

Personally I am having less tech trouble than ever (download version). I also find the standard of play is not too alarming on average (except mine lol), much less than it was some times in the past. And yes, every now a then there are fantastic games.

And I love the peeps.

So you gits won't get rid of me for a while.....

yup gotta go withya on that. used to be here constantly but only reason im not now is cause of mini me but when i get the chance its still great relaxing therapy to play cards with ya all even though so some good ones are missin in action

We all bitch and moan at times...I agree with you all this is "still" a great place with excellent people.. Sure it has it's flaws ... But I personaly do not expect perfection...just relax ... Have fun..and ENJOY the ride people... For however long it lasts...xxx

I just played about 2.5 hours of bingo-FREE poker on one of our free play rings

also gained 500k in the process, but that's irrelevant i enjoyed the good game with good people albeit only one of em was replying to my heckling lol, but least someone was

the site is awesome, i see and feel no reason to leave...and to be perfectly honest, dont see why ANYONE ELSE would feel that way...

here here franco, been here from the beginning too and know exactly what you are talking about chucky! Things were good and bad on the old site. Have made a lot of friends here, I hope,and with all the stress of the world out there, it's one place i can come on and totally relax. enjoy the tourneys and the mini's and the good banter on the tables. thanks for posting this, chuckster... i am still a newbie here, started in july 2010,but i met some of the friendliest people ever, played some of the best tourneys i ever had... and am so sad that so many people i got to like are leaving... I have already said it at another thread: shouldnt we better stick together than leaving???
However, I will stay...hoping to get to know more of you lovely people and to play many, many pokergames...

I joined beginning of march 2008
Didn't join forum at first just played on newbies as was new to poker, then quickly moved to s n go's so didn't really get to know all the players on the rings, noticed the big
tourneys and really liked them better, so only really played them from then on, so only really saw people then, being a shy old bird took me a while to say much lol

I didn't mind the bugs and I had it worse on pit bug wise.
I've always love this place and it has helped me cope with life's ups and downs especially the 2 years my mother was so ill before she died in May.
I had to keep out of the forum a lot at that time, when the rows were happening as I couldn't cope with that as well, so I have probably miss out on a lot here and hope people don't think I'm in anyway not friendly.

I know a lot are leaving was very close myself a awhile ago and am again.

I will always be thankful to Lava he started a unique poker site, with a sense of family, love the place and most of all the people who play here xx suppose your stuck with me for now xx

there are very few people here that i would consider
more part of this family,or the atmosphere around here,then you are !!
a family is only as gd as it members,and your great,im not the only 1
that thinks that either. if you were too leave it would be a terrible
blow to the site,and a great loss to most of the other players, very much
me included.
i said it cuddy ill say it to you ...take a break if u need,take a day a week,hopefully not a month.if you need too,but hun dont go!!! that would be very sad indeed!!!!!
