New site layout. What do you think.

ok im going to sleep now .... I cant ssay i will be playing poker here anymore ... I will always be on the forum but if we have to play over there i will be giving away my chips i think ... I have been here a long time and I know Blacklava puts alot of time and effort into the free site but if all this change is to save a few dollars i will pay a yearly fee to have the old tables back . And i think with such a huge change you could of warned us hun . Night xxx

for me the new side has its good points,but also it bad ones..let me play there alittle more before i decide which side of the fence to sit on..

i have to agree. ive played on both sides and i much prefered the way it used to be here. i dont like the graphics that much on the real money side, the faster speed is better of course, but otherwise, given the choice i wouldnt want to change. the lag i can live with, as long as it isnt really bad. it hasnt stopped me playing.

on the real money side, i'd like to be able to type in the amount im raising, like i could on the free side, as opposed to having to move that bar, i didnt find that method very user friendly when you are against the clock.

also i didnt like the chips, why are they so small and crappy looking?

the noise it makes when someone raises is just really irritating (which i know can be turned off, but i like some sound when i play)

on the plus side, the folded cards thing is a nice option to have, as is the show cards option too.

i didnt even know any of this was happening, ive been away for a couple of weeks with work, lost 500k to the 5% (i forgot to ask for a holiday), get back and find this has happened.

i dont want to criticise you for trying to improve the site, ive posted lots of times showing my appreciation and thanks for the work you do and the fact its a free site. but in this case i think you will find a lot of people share this opinion.

Didn't like having to give up my first screen name (patsy) owing to a foul up in the registration process after having used it for months (350,000+); didn't like having to give up my second screen name which I was forced to switch to (heirophant) and losing my bankroll in the process (126,000). Finally, the new tournament listings are confusing, to be charitable; and, as far as I can tell, the mini-tourneys are ancient history. To think, just yesterday afternoon I was playing the Uytos mini, chatting amicably with my buddy Lfc. Sigh.name

OH DEAR............

Table looks OK.... Characters are better for those without avatars.....

BUT

I HATE the fact that

1. I have had to give name, address, phone number and DOB
2. No Mini Tourneys (that and the Big ones are what i want to play)
3. NO corralation from old site tables to new
4. NO chat unless you are playing (banter is part of the fun)
5. No Avatars
6. Feel sorry for those kids that do play that are no unable to FYI - (you will probably lose the parents as well)
There are obviously loads more but i have scrambled head trying to sort this...

Im afraid OP could have the biggest attrition rate of any website ever known

Unless some answers are given in the next couple of days..... IM OUTTA HERE....

I was one of the people who moaned about the lag..... bring it back............

Another site may have to be the answer.....

As of right now, there 5 players out of a possible 1000 occupied--suggests perhaps the old system was more user friendly, no?

i think the new site layout does look far more professional , however the old layout was far more user friendly. i personally stopped playin on other sites to come and play on this one because it was so easy to navigate. i also agree with missj , i would b willing to pay a yearly fee to bring bak the old tables
