Way different layout. I agree with M4rtin the layout of tables and tourneys is confusing. The table is great. Many of the people playing are not part of our 'family' and yes, MissJ, a couple were quite rude. However I am willing to give it a go. The worst bit is not being able to chat from 'outside' the table. Going back in......wish me luck and send a search party in if I don't come out! LOL XXX

OK I didn't realise everyone had been forced to move over but I did theis appraisal...

Well the good news is there doesn’t seem to be any lag!

The better news is that the players don’t seem as good on here so the good players should be able to make a killing while the trial is on!

The options allows for the dealer to deal the cards prior to the flop which looks quite good

When you call the bet is bracketed next to the ‘call’ on the button and the raise shows that value too which is good (for the life of me I can’t remember if that happened n the old one - lmao)

Another nice feature is when you fold your cards remain shown in front of you with a nice ‘folded’ stamped in front of them so you can see exactly where you would have won!

When the intial bet is complete your options are nicely place in front of you and stand out well. Which tempts you to use them one button that is new is a bet pot which is a nice feature (though it doesn’t work if someone bets before you.)

That though is about as good as it gets!

With the options nicely place in front of you everyone seems to use them so the play can be lightning fast. It is really difficult to follow exactly what is going on!

There is no animation for the cards and they just appear and your small blind if you have a think and check and everyone has hit the option the ‘fold-check-bet’ option just appears and you can easily think you haven’t clicked on it, hit it again and suddenly your on the river!

The speed made it difficult to slow play a game. I think a turbo tourney would be ridiculous here

When you load a table the buy-in value is set to the maximum amount. Not really a problem when you figure this out. What is a problem is you raise it seems that the value is disproportionate to bet. Move the slider just a small way along and the bet can be huge comparative to the pot size. (That may just be me though but a few times I wanted to raise about three times pot and ended up raising about ten times it in error)

Another bugbear is that I haven’t found a way to open two windows at once – is this possible?

i agree with ydd above. the slider bar when you are trying to raise is a real pain in the arse. i used to play the freerolls occasionally, it wasnt the only thing that put me off the whole format by any means. but if i had to make a list of faults, that would be one of the first i would mention.

I just played a mini tourney, won it btw, but it took forever, weird experience out of the first 40 hands there were 7 f/h's, think that the starting stack is too high, 2000 buy in, 2000 starting stack

Really not happy alot of us peeps have been on here for a long time and i have really enjoyed playing but now! Ive not even botherd to play tonight ive made lots of great friends on here and normally meet in certain tables but now its all changed i know its free but when you have built up a community of people from all over the world how can you just push them aside to prevent the lag. Im really sorry to all those peeps ive met and chat to on here but i dont think you will now see me on the tables i hope to pm u all and keep in touch

There are some real IMPROVEMENTS in the new game interface. However I feel like I only have time to concentrate and play my cards. I don't feel like I have time to keep track of the rest of the table action. Keeping track of what's going on with other players is a large part of poker. Just too fast for me. I wanted to practice on the free sight for awhile before playing the real money side, but the real money side is out of the question if I can't keep track of what's going on.

Ok I went in with open mind......ready to take the good with the bad....BUT
I cant recognise my usual fellow players because half of em have had to change their name to log in to new site!
The other players are not friendly......anyone who knows me, knows I enjoy a bit of banter with anyone but these guys....and girls....nah
