Default New Site test results..

OK Blacklava.. some feedback from the new site.. its creaking under the load tonight. But that is 2000+ players just in tournaments..

Looks like your about at your limit.

Cheers

I have no real results yet... need to setup all needed stuff as specified in the thread showing the "planned schedule".

So far we had one serious lag on friday night and then a small one on saturday morning (uk hour).
Afterward most of the where lights outside freerolls with more than 600 players which got often a lag through the first hands.

Nothing compared to the other script, it's more playable about the lags, I guess we could all agree on that point at least.

We need to work on the feeling, I agree it's colder than before...

Hi Lava,

Loved this site for a few months, and just can't help but add my own penneth worth.
Sorry mate, this is terrible.
Been trying to play, tried to give it my best shot and all that - check my playing stats the last 48 hours, username MetalTilDeath on the real money side - but everything about this feels wrong.
The loss of the big chip wins (Twisted Mammoth and Baz Ultra being my favourite tables by far), the lack of community that was such a part of the site, the hideous graphics, and the lack of continuity between games - you can't stay on the same table now if you win, it closes the table. Before, people would lurk and the same people play each other again and again, and get to chat and enjoy each others company.
Above all else, the feeling that I just can't take it seriously. I no longer care about my chip count, I don't care if I lose so go all-in just because I am getting bored.
Change it back, dude.
People loved it before.
We could even tolerate the lag issue.
I'd rather play slow fun poker than quick sanitised poker.

Cheers

Mosefus

Either way, all the best

I've commented on this elsewhere so I'll keep this brief. The lag on this site was terrible prior to the update. The amount of information you can gleem from the amount of time it takes a player to make his move or not as the case maybe is INVALUABLE!!!

Anyone who playes poker online for real $ as I have done so for 5 years knows this only too well. So, please stop moaning about the update and the fact there's no longer a lag on the action.

Like I said, anyone who knows anything about playing poker online for real $ will know a lag on the action is not acceptable and no credible poker player would use the site!

Well done for gwetting rid of the appauling lag! Shame you can't get rid of the appauling players I've seen on here either!

Peaceout

have to agree with this point..fair enough, i'm sort of getting used to the site and with a few small moderations maybe it will work BUT!! me and switchblade (my hubby) have always played the multi's as a challenge against eachother (the competitiveness is unbelievable!) we have NEVER cheated when playing at the same table and now this has all been lost. even my sons who play on this site now have to check with either switch or myself as to whether or not we've entered the tourneys...Lava, you already know what i went through with the initial changeover...i would love to know if this can be changed..

Hi...was playing the guaranteed 1 mil tourney on Sunday night(UK time),was at the final table, and the server booted me off twice. I did manage to get back on ,but both times people had been knocked out while I was away. I finished second, which was what was looking likely, but it is possible that I would have finished lower had I been playing...first problem I have had with the new site, and i have been there pretty much all weekend. Much better regarding the lag,but it seems there is still a bit. Lava and team, keep up the good work.

Respect

You are missing the whole point of what everyone is saying and that is a shame.

Also - This is about your 50th post telling us what a great poker player you are and how you make a fortune on real money sites, and how many years you've been doing it blah blah blah.

Mate - go back to those sites, make your fortune and stop bothering other people, OK ?
