The New System

Now, everybody, you seem to say and think you like the old system ?
What about everything that is a positive from the new system ?
Like it is much faster than the old system, more modern and is quicker to load up on screen etc etc etc.

Personally, I do prefer the old system to this new system, but I think I am getting used to this new system.
but what about Blacklava.
Well what about Blacklava I hear you ask ?
Well, Blacklava has put more time and effort in to making this new system FOR US and wants to make everything better FOR US.
I dont mean for this to sound rude and I'm not so please don't be offended but i just really wish people would appreciate what others are doing to make this site better and to be even more improved in the near future.

I know this thread is just like what JediKnight wrote, but I didn't think much of it until this morning. I was in a 10k tourney, and everybody was moaning about this new system and how there is hardly any players on here anymore and how rubbish it really is.

Blacklava really is a truly amazing person doing this for all of us.
And to be honest, you have my word everybody, I thank Blacklava for doing all of this ! I truly think this new system could work out in then end and hopefully this site shall get some players back, if not new players !

im not going to disagree when it comes to the effort lava and all the other mods have put into this site. it has been much appreciated, and i, as well as many others have posted lots of times to offer our thanks. and whilst some people did used to post complaining about the lag, i, along with lots of others never did.

but im afraid i dont fall into the "i love the new site" category. along with some 90% of other players, i would love for the old script and everything else to be returned to us. getting into it in any more depth would be pointless, as everything has already been said and re-said on the forum already.

i was playing today on another site which runs the old script (something which i NEVER did before). i asked in the room how many people were originally from OP66. on a ten seater table, 4 of us were ex OP66, and had all left for the same reasons.

Oh well, that is fair enough mate, I myself do not fall under the "i love the new site" category but I think I could get used to it.

i got it from a post i saw here, which got censored pretty much straight away. (interestingly the guy who posted was one of these "respected" players that you hear about, had tourneys named after him and everything)

i also notice that whilst this thread is only like 39 minutes old, it no longer appears under the new or todays posts list. its been moved rather efficiently hasnt it? ive noticed the same sort of thing happening a few times just lately. i could be being paranoid, it just seems odd that the other posts that have moved also seem to be on the subject of the new system. perhaps ive got it all totally wrong?

it just seems a bit strange to me, that another thread, not relating to the new system, seems to have been left on the new posts section for 21hrs up to press, yet this one got moved in less than an hour.

I have no technical problems with the new system. I prefer the old, but I will adapt to new IF I CAN FEEL THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY AGAIN...

I MISS MY FRIENDS AND ALL THE PLAYFUL CHATTER - before, during, and after hands ... and even when not in the game!

Hi jazzfrogs. You were one of the first friends I made on this site. From various threads I have seen, I can't see the social element to the site coming back.

It seems that the whole community feel of the site has been eroded.

I will miss saying 'ribbit' to you when you steal yet more chippies from me.

I'm not joining the new site. My reasons are stated on the poll on general discussion. I wish you well, and hopefully when this whole sorry mess has been sorted out we can play again.

How do I get back to the list of tournaments and everything? I can't even find them anymore. This new site sucks. I will probably quit playing online poker just because of this, unless I ever decide to play the money side. But your money side graphics suck. I would honestly prefer the free design tables just using money. It is a more comfortable design and pictures and I like the chatting box and everything.

Oh well, guess all good things come to an end.

I had fun while it lasted, and if it ever comes back, then I would love to play again. But hey, they have to make some money, so why not push the $$$$ side and abandon all of us who enjoyed the free poker side.

I understand your comments and views but the truth must be that you get nothing for nothing in this world. Lava does this for the money side of the game he must, who could do this for free? Only time will tell if we will get the old scipt back I hope we do.

Thank you survey1, I understand you too and personally I wish the old server would come back too but what I'm trying to get across to people is that even though this is the new server and the old one probably wont come back, why go to a different poker site when this one is still good enough ?

I agree with you 100%.

I still personally prefer the old system 100% but it has to be said I am warming to the new system.....especially with Lava and the team working so dam hard to meet our needs....

But I also agree with Jazzfrogs.....the community spirit has disappeared and it needs to come back - the sooner the better!!!!!

I'm not trying to make this into a democratic vote between the old and new system lol but I only want to try and make things better for people who have stuck by onlinepoker66 since they have joined, and newcomers in the future !

because we would rather play on the old script. the old script is still out there. its just a shame that it wont be coming back here.

Marlo... Talking about democraty : There was a poll about trying the new script Who would like to tryu a test of real money script?
and actually one about keeping it or not, then tomorrow the "official" poll for finally keeping it.
You were allways free to post your point of vue and got replies from me or from moderators.
You do not want to try the new script, you just disslike it and talking publicly on forum about going elsewhere... No problem with that here as soon as you do not post links. What more do you want?
