Next months titans

Whoever becomes the next winners in mens and ladies to captain please could you arrange the next titans to be played on a sunday.this the reason being some players can not play on a saturday and some cant play on a sunday.this time it was palyed on a sat so for those who couldnt play will have the chance to play the next match

we may also need to rethink the format
too many times the tables were unbalanced with either only 1 or 2 guys or gals playin against 5,6,7 or 8 opponents
makes for very boring poker as chips are just passed around to the shortstackers
dunno what the answer is......any1 got any ideas???

Pappy, that's the way it has always been. I remember my first Titans...It was me and Betty on the table with all men... Me unfamiliar with how that tournament was played, I made it harder for Betty, bless her heart.
I really don't think that is gonna change, basically because this is a special tournament and the poker site isn't really designed for that.
But agree it would be much better...

It was changed to saturday to so us Aussies play. If u go back to sunday u will lose us all.

I guess the fair thing to do is rotate it , one month Sat. next month Sundays.....just sayin'....Or we could leave it up to the capts. for the next tourney....

only the last 2 tourneys have been played on Sat...just gave us aussies a chance to play. Up to the captains what day they play the next one .

COULD WE SPLIT THE TURNY ...MAKE IT TWO DAY TOTAL POINT
half play saturday and half sunday , add it up monday.
if there were two days may have more players.

nice idea in theory frank, but could be a nightmare to organise a 2 day tourney

We will never be able to please everyone, some can play only Saturdays (Aussie Sunday morning) while others can play only Sundays (Aussie Monday morning). It would probably be fairest to everyone to rotate between the 2 days so that at least everyone gets a chance to play.

As regards reformatting the tournament, I don't think it is possible. Certainly it would be better if 5 men were playing 5 ladies on every table, but with the set-up we have it isn't possible to guarantee that this happens.

I think it should be rotated, cause everyone should be able to have the opportunity to play. The 2 day tourney would be "He double L"
on the Capt's. It's a hard tourney to organize....and it has to be equal amount of players.(Ladies/Men) But must say it's my favorite, and always a pleasure to be able to play.

I want my Aussie friends to be able to play...and wished there was a time that suited everyone, but that will never happen. So I think this is the best solution...

who reckons we should/could have a poll on the matter? See if we can determine titans format by vote?

To simplify the problem of equal numbers for each gender, would counting only the same number for both teams, based on whoever has the least representatives make sense?

In clearer terms: if ladies have 32 players and gents 28, just rank the best 28 ladies against the 28 men.

Just an idea.

Like its been said we aint going to please everyone.this game was originally played on a sunday and it was decided for the last 2 games to be played sat so we could give others a chance of a game.theres a lot of people like this tourny coz its different and to keep it on a saturday would be wrong for those who cant play.if there is a better way to do this so everyone gets a chance then lets do it

that way the team with extra would get to lose there
worst few players .bonus for showing up with a great team.
and a v fare counting system. all gd i think.
