Next months titans

I hate to see anyone left out and support the idea of alternating, so all who want to play have a chance to play.
I'll leave the rankings idea up to those who are not blonde and support what they find works best. xxx
And Deb, I just want to say thank you hun for being such great captain. Your communications kept us all informed and you even went above and beyond with medals. I know this was very time consuming. Thank you for making it special for all of us. xxxx

Personally, I dont think everbody should have a chance to play, the better plater usually dont, I think the best idea is to pick the best players, rather that the first people to say that they want to play and to keep it to saturday.

how about qualifying tourneys for both ladies and men , then the top five players on each team play each other....or top 10 players.

Well, i would at least start by picking the better players and not leave the better players as the reserves. It seem fairly simple to me. Then again, I can also see why good players couldnt really care less about playing titans.
Having said that, I spoke to somebody the other day about picking the 10 good current UK players and it was a struggle even naming 10 and that included male and female.
It is sad to say but true be told, there probably isnt 50 great player world wide on this site now

I think that to only play on a Sunday is disregarding the players who can't play that day...yes namely us Aussies....we are involved in this site...and we do like to have a chance to play. To alternate each month would be fair to us all. I may not be a great player lfc....but I do like to join in the tourneys and be able to have a go. The tourneys been running for over 12 months and I've only been able to play the last 2....and I had a great time in both.

That being said.....someone needs to decide whats going to happen before the next tourney

i always thought this tourney would be a fun tourney... now its a discussion about who´s the best????? i dont win every hand, am i a bad player and kicked out of titan`s for that????? Newbies are not allowed to play the titan`s then??? woohoo... nice, nice
About the day to play.. well, i usually can´t play on saturdays, its the family day...The rotation idea is not bad, some would be able to play at least every second month,...even if they aren´t the best players ...

like tony says its up to the capt to pick a team,,, anyway lfc,,u dont play the tourneys,,so its got nowt to do with u also everyone is a good player on there day,,so iv not got a clue wot u class as a good player, ps i dont class u in the top half of good players,,u are like me average,,

I think everyone has the right to play and whats a good player and whats a bad player.
It depends on serveral things,some day it all works. the other day nothing but bad luck.
And also the idea off changing the days sounds good to me and fair to the aussies.

also everyone is a good player on there day,,yep but I didn't think Titans was that sort of a tournament. At the begining, wasn't it the BEST of the ladies vs the BEST of the gentlemen?so iv not got a clue wot u class as a good player,Not sure this is my opinion or a general rule of thumb but a good player is somebody who at least knows about odds, starting hands, importance of position, how to bet, can pick up tells/reads, not a lucker. ps i dont class u in the top half of good players,,u are like me average,,I fully agree. I just see some names, month in, month out, who I consider to be below average.

I think everybody will agree that I shouldn't post on this forum any more.

Cmon now lets not argue.i was only saying have alternate days so that way everyone gets to play.this tourny has got to be one of the best.it was originally played on a sunday but was swapped to a saturday because of those who couldnt play on a sunday.it is not fair to keep it on a saturday because those that can play on a sunday cant on a saturday.

i have an idea to construct a poll with a collaberation of ideas for the titans, which would include;

the current system
the 'over 2 day' system
A multiple heads-up system (all male vs females)
A 'qualifier' system (where 5 of each gender play in a final...after qualifiers for each gender

any more suggestions for the poll are welcome

that is.......if everyone agrees with a poll? I've contacted a few people regarding this, and all are supportive. Would like to hear from a majority before carrying this out...

I know for a fact i cant play on sundays unless i have the day off at work next day, but you wont be losing out anyways
