| When you are in a real poker game in a casino you are not allowed to tell the others players what your cards are in your hand. It doesnt matter if you are in the hand or not it is giving the other players information they should not have. IT IS A FORM OF CHEATING.. and you can be ejected from the casino for doing this ... if you are in a BIG TOURNAMENT in las vegas and you do this, they will take you out of the game for a 10 to 30 minute time period. If you continue they will eject you from the tournament.. THE REASON I BRING THIS TO YOUR ATTENTION is because it happens here alot in fact it just happen to me.. a player told another player and myself what he had after he folded and when he saw the turn he told us he had jack five and the board was showing jacks and 10's. i was going to bluff but i couldn't now, he told the other player that i might not have a jack so i folded..... it is ok to tell what you had after the hand is over. | I will assume that the person did not realize that it is wrong to give out such information. He is probably an inexperienced player. |

| I agree Jayccin its annoying and its happening a lot lately. I dont know whether the instant chat activiation is a good idea!! I watched what was done for the 5 day before I could be seen which I think is probably a good thing.

| its frustrating dealing with people like that and i dont think thats proper at all but just keep in mind (only my opinion) that its a form of a bluff and cheap way to get people to fold or raise and i dont like it one bit. u can never trust someone wreckless like that.

| Can you please stop contradicting yourself please? Thank you jayccin Poker King Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 172 Credits: 2,345 [Donate] it you only had 30 minites to play a mini then you should not have started it in the first place but since you did why not try this tell the others you have to go and say you are going all in and then tell them your hand let them deside what they want to do |

| So it is better to do that, yet you are saying it is not allowed. Is that what you are saying? |

| Sorry Jayccin, what Forrestking says is right. What you suggested in that previous thread is also well against the rules of 'normal' poker, and it spoils the game for people playing on this site when it happens. |

| I have done this a couple of times recently due to the frustration of being continually folded when I tried to call due to the problems on the site especially when it's near the end of a game. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't me on this particular occasion however I take the point and will just bite the table legs and keep quiet next time! ![]() |
