Hi everybody i have had a break from playing poker on this site for a few weeks now , then sat i thought what the hell i'll register for hetmans.....cards were crap but hey i have no right to get good cards as i haven't played for a while then sunday i played hetmans again and well.....it was boring not saying the poker wasn't good or there was any so called donk play at all but its just not the same.
I used to love coming on here having a game of poker and a chat with some very good m8s but site isn't the same now.
I play most poker sites as a few on sky will know and there a better atmosphere on most sites.....there has to be a reason why people wanna come and play on the free side because you don't win money so it should be fun but the fun has left this site.
The medals from KingPete are fantastic and i thank him for all his efforts.
Something needs to be done to bring this site back to life....i haven't a clue what that could be but till it does my poker days on op are over.

YES the forum has become a bit of a nightmare, granted. But the dailys havnt changed (apart from a few new faces at the table). The fun and laughter is still more than present at the tables... Gits calling other gits gits, women being women
I hope you could reconsider m8, and hoping to see you soon at the tables.
And as Stevo mentioned, you're one of the best players (IMO) on the site...would be a shame to lose a player like yourself.

To be honest I don't understand this behaviour. Why certain people have a need to advertise the fact that they are leaving? If you enjoy other site, please go there and enjoy. Why do you have to put some salt on our wounds before going?

- I love OP66
- I love playing with these gits in ring tables and in tourneys
- I love to watch how certain people fight in forum here (juss kidding, hate it)
- I love to watch how my friendship with a lot of people here grow through Outlaws city or tourney games

Its simple things in OP66 that keep me here. I love it for it. So, to the attention of ALL the PEOPLE who are intending to leave
OP66, please do so quietly, without advertising, because there is a chance that someday you'll return. And everything will be all right. Well, if you like it in other poker sites please enjoy it there. No harm done.

i agree that the site aint the same. partly because of the lack of a good ring game. and partly because of the nastiness and mud slinging on the forum. i dont come on the forum much anymore because of that, save for a few sporting threads, and trivia stuff.

I totally agree with Outys comments and must admit his feelings are not a million miles from my own. It is hard letting go of somthing that you love , but after almost 4 years here I am also feeling that I am not enjoying my now infrequent visits.

It has been a blast and there are many many great people that I have met on my 4 year journey, some of you I have had the very good fortune to meet in person.

I will still pop in for the odd game now and then or drop by to say hello, but other than that I feel that I too am going to take an extended break.

Sorry to hear the news guys, but i guess it's been a while coming, and i know from meeting you both, your decisions have not come lightly.
I know, because i have too, that you have been here for what seems like forever, have made some really good friends off site too thru our love of OP when it was at it's best.
Unfortunately tho, it's not like that anymore, not thru the want of trying from people, and i'm sure, sadly, that other long standing gr8 players and friends will be doing the same as you too....either publicly so they can say their goodbyes to the many friends they will be leaving, or privately...so they can just slip away and not hurt those they leave behind too much.
My love and best wishes go out to you both, and hopefully, we can still meet up from time to time thru the OP66 meets that we will keep going hopefully cos they give us all the chance to keep the friendships built here alive...and they are precious things to have.

I miss my old second home. For a year and a half or more you guys were my best friends, I stayed up all hours just to play poker with you guys and just chat with you lovely people. You're all so stuck in differentiating between the then and now that you can't create a better future; maybe I'm wrong but that's all I'm seeing, and that's why these guys have left. Don't get me wrong this post in and of itself is just another member bitching between the then and now, but that is the general tone of this place now and the ship is sinking.

A lot of good comments for and against, same as other threads but I don't like seeing people post to criticise without giving suggestions how to get it back to the way it was.
I'm not really sure what the main differences are now compared to previous times and I've been here a few years myself.
Some days you want to chat and have fun, other days you just want a quiet game.
People make this site and create the fun, but everyone has good days and bad.

The tourneys are still the same to me,nevertheless I respect how you feel about the same.These are your thoughts and your its most important how you feel playing on this site.I agree you need a feel good factor and it doesnt seem to be on for you.
Would only request you to reconsider as we do have fair bit of gits who enjoy a good game of poker in the tourneys..you are one of us for sure.
I havent been here for years...nevertheless have found a good bunch of blokes out here to play with and its really been a pleasure to have you as part of this community.

people try to help and are shot down in flames
community and family no longer exist
what was once the greatest site to play on is now one of the worst
you are not the only one who is thinking of leaving or has left
giving it serious consideration myself ( not saying i am leaving but am definitely thinking about it )

i,m not going into the in,s and out,s of what has changed at op66, all the players that were here years ago are not here so things of course are not the same and you can never get it back to that,i for one am enjoying my poker and the odd bit of banter,to be quite honest there is not enough of the tournies i like to play i,ve got outlaws,mini,s and the op66,s Hets etc and thats it,so there is big breaks,probably been down this road before but return the Baz ultras and the mini mamoth for those that remember these were great tournies.But all said and done i respect the players here,those that feel the need to leave and those that have left,but those that are going or gone are really missed,going to shut up now in case i say something someone has a gripe with lol or have i already done that lol,sing a song alway,s brightens up the day dream dream dream dream when i need you in my arms,when i need you and all of your charms,whenever i need you all i have to do is dream!!
