I think that the main problem with this situation is NOT that pple have been banned , BUT MAINLY THE SEVERITY OF THE BAN , a lifetime is beyond reason , ok punishment is the way of the world , but do you agree with cutting off a hand for stealing ? do you agree with death for adultery? a LIFE BAN FOR A MISTAKE ?? You may justify this easy with Proof,proof means that all of the evidence supports the conclusion and that evidence to the contrary has been examined and found to be flawed.All moderators have seen what when on and all believe the action was right.They should be respected doing there jobs but just because you are in the minority does not make you wrong.
Just because a panel of experts agrees with you does not make you right.
And conversely:If you are in the majority, you are not necessarily right.
If a panel of experts disagrees with you, you are not necessarily wrong.
people on each side believe that there is either proof (reason to be confident in the conclusions) or lack of evidence (reason to be skeptical of the conclusions).WE are not intelligent and they are not nutty,This matter was dealt with by the moderators who run the site,it may be there site with there policing ,but we make it ours with friendship,kindiness ,lets not name call,all on here equal and all need to be heard without fear of being booted , We are reasoning, thinking individuals,adults, so don't resort to name-calling just because someone is in the minority or doesn't have a panel of experts behind them. I understand how you ALL feel but you have to see that the bans was not fun at all more like sad i no the ppl banned where well liked ,i liked them to i hope they come back 1 day but you think they want all this going on and plus if we did not step in when we had there would have been more .

there probably were some errors made 'somewhere'...there had to have been, otherwise there wouldn't be such [negative] response. and i agree, an END TO LIFE-TIME BANNINGS!

I hope the powers that be instsitute a one month ban then a 6 month probitanary period not a one mistake and your out system

also post what a member has done wrong so that we all know the facts

There were different causes/ multiple causes by some, therefore, different penalties, as explained by BlackLava. As for returning from a lifetime ban, no, that cannot happen. But the subject concerns multiple members. Those who were not banned permanently will be welcomed back when their ban period is over. As far as supplying information to the public. That is nobody's business other than the Staff, and the offender.

I am saying this and it will be the last time I say it: Karly was banned for 14 days for disrespecting a moderator. I checked the account and found multiply accounts associated with hers.
