Yeo , I understand your frustration to a degree, but I do think that the Outlaws Ultra is seen by a lot of people as a bit of fun. I do agree that a lot of the play is a bit manic, and I've often made some bad daft calls myself. But you do also have to take into consideration that only having 6 seconds to act does affect peoples judgement.

I don't think you need to defend your actions in any way at all.

yep, what he said. i play tight for first 10 minutes, then when blinds go above 400, i will push with medium to premium hands and cross my fingures.. great fun...

I'm by far a Good poker player....seriously...
Far as the Ultra's, I have no time to think..
(I need time...lol)
I play whats in my hand.
Sometime (very rarely) it goes in my favor.
But theses all inners can mess up a good hand.
I look as the ultra's a fun game.
definitely not a skilled game. IMO.....
LOL....It's kinda like hot potato..
However I wished it would be played seriously.
But what game is? It seems bingo players
have took over.

i agree its is bingo but the 6 secs and quick blind increases cause this im a tight player and have won this few times with tight play but you need the cards at the right time

Played some ulrta tourneys myself , and i must say that saw there
some good and some very bad play, but when im playin on cash tables
sometimes i see very bad play , dont wont to call that play bingo,
because, its your choice how you will play your 2 cards, all in
preflop, after flop, on river, its your money, your gambling.
When i sugested Lava satellite tourney for Outlaw tourney, my
idea were to put 0.10$ buy in, he start Ultra tourney like freerool,
and now i see that i was wright, now players play Ultra tourney,
they dont know why, dont know what with voucher he won, play just
to play (everybody play, so dont want to be outsider).
Im sure when even 0.10$ of your money you will put in buyin,
loose play will be out (not completly), but like on 1$/2$ or 5.50$ tourneys it will
be allways players who will be play difrent way (not tight),
i saw very loose agresive players on cash side,
but i will never call them "bingo" players,
thats theres wright to play for theres money how they want.
And Ultra, Ultra is just fun tourney, im playin same like i play allways
but i will say how we in Croatia said:
Card is a w.... (lady of the night), now with you, next moment with someone else.
Whow, joya, easy, stop....

I fully agree with jocks comments.. i too see this tourny as a bit of fun. its like a super fast freeroll. and like freerolls i see its as trying to hang in and make the final table. ive only made the final table once but when i did i noticed the game changed and got serious.

i think thats probably the right attitude to have for this tourny, yeoman. if you decide to push all-in with 7 & 2 i certainly wont complain coz i already know what good player you are and that you was probably just trying to get lucky in a bing game.

-yup , yup ,and yup- its is so fast blinds and to act ,that ya must move fast,,50-70 players for 1,2,3 - also is a factor , i have fun there and relize its not the actual outlaws tournys,,,that slop wont last long at those...- i mostly like the fact that it gets more players interested in outlaws tournys,,so there,,;p
