Default Poker terminology origins

I am sure some of this will have been answered before and may have been in previous threads. Although i understand what most of the terminolgy in Poker means, i dont know why or how the terms came about.

If anyone wants to fill in the gaps please feel free.

1. Poker - why poker, where did this name come from
2. Flop, turn, River - although i think flop speaks for itself and to a certain extent so does turn - why River
3. Full house - Why full house
4. Ainsworth - why is holding 6 2 called an Ainsworth
5. Big slick - why is AK called big slick
6. Bubble - why is the last out before the prizes called the bubble

a few excellent questions for me to investigate. the first is relatively easy, simple etymology:

"POKER" comes from either the Irish Poca ('Pocket') or even the French poque, which descended from the German pochen ('to brag as a bluff' )

i cant answer those but the term or name sandwich (the food) came from poker there was a man that liked playing poker so much he would not take time to get up and go eat so he would have them put some ham between two slices of bread and bring it to him at the table others saw this and started requesting it and it became known as a sandwich.

sorry, i think you missed the important point that the man's name was John Montagu (1718-92), Fourth Earl of Sandwich
