Question Poker Trivia

So I was thinking about royal flushes and all and thought of some questions... I'll ask one or two as an example and save the rest. Anyone else can ask similar type questions (e.g., what hand is the best hand to have against AA? etc.)

So mine are: What is the best hand you can have on the flop yet still not be the absolute nuts (not be guaranteed to win the pot)?

And similar to it: What is the worst hand you can have on the flop but still have the absolute nuts (can't be beaten)?

So just "quote" any question(s) and give your answer (or guess), and leave another question if you want.

against AA if a tight player raises and u put him on AA KK ets, i will call with a pair or suited connectors,

if u miss the flop easy fold, it you hit the flop you will stack him off 9out of 10

there monster buster hands

well that's not the question I was asking exactly but yeah the hand with the best odds against AA is 76 suited in either of the two suits that aren't the Aces' suits.

Any takers on the other 2 questions? Any more of these types of questions?

My first answer is not correct, because my hand wasn't the best one in the flop. So here goes the correct answer.

The flaw is the worst hand cannot be the nuts. Its as simple as that.

I think your first was correct. I didn't say your hand had to be ahead on the flop I said "best hand you can have on the flop" and still be beatable. I didn't mean you had to be beat on a particular street... just ever.

So what's the "weakest" hand you can have on a flop and still be guaranteed to win against any possible possible hand?

ok I think the miscommunication is in my use of "worst" or "best". I don't use those as comparisons to an opponents hand. I'm using it as in ranking on a scale from high card 7 all the way to royal flush. So worst being not even a pair and best being royal (not comparing to an opponent to determine best and worst).

Does that clarification work?

I got it now.

Let me think. But my worst hand had to be some FREAKING monster lmfao.

The worst hand on flop that cannot be beaten no matter what happens in turn and river is 56 suited while the flop is 234 with the same suit. Any other combination of the flop may still beat us with turn and river cards.

My question is :

Is it possible to have flop, turn and river combination where 4 players will have Quads, Quads, strt flush, and strt flush?

close but 5 high straight flush (you hold A5s on 234 flop) is lower and no one else can make another straight flush with you holding the 5. You have to be holding the A though, that's the tricky part.

Yep
Just seen your post.
A5s is the one. You always have to have the 5 or the 10 in hand to stop anyone else making a straight flush.
( It's a bit too early in the morning here lol )

good point. never realized only 2 cards can stop any possible straight flush.

ok here's a tough one that I've heard different answers too and haven't completely figure out:

Which two starting hands are the most dominating?

For example: AA vs 72 is 87.04% (there are several more stacked than this though)

see if you can find one more than 94.2% That's the best one I could think of
