I would agree with all that you have said Future. I think the best way to build an initial bank roll is to play cash at very low stakes. I know alot of pros have atleast 10 buy ins for the stakes they play but I personally like to have 20. I dont like sit and gos and regardless of how good a player you are you can still be blinded out towards the bubble but in cash you can just reload and the blinds stay the same. I know a couple of pros that make steady money from sit and gos but I really dont like the format. As for mtts I think they are superb value and a great way to make a big bankroll and fast. Although it may take you 7 hours but for 20 dollars investment you could win upto 4k and at very low risk. I hope this answers your questions mate.

Thank you Baz, your comments have answered my questions fully.

Ive set myself a challange to increase the cash ive won through freerolls to as much as possible, starting with the ring tables.

The i way i will go about it is; if i can make 20 million from 100k free chips on the free side, who's to say i cant make $200 from $10 in cash games. lol i know but i will most certainly enjoy the challenge nonetheless.

thx again Baz,

fut.

I was at a casino last night and on a table with a drunk guy with a pretty big stack, twice mine. What's the best way to deal with a drunk player? When he was in a pot he would go all in trying to buy the pot, and would never get called. After I don't know how long of playing he busted out. Is it best to just wait for them to waste their chips away or what?

Well I have played several drunk guys and I find the best way to play them is just like any other player. Pick your spot to get your chips in the middle. Poker is all about big hands pre flop and about seing a flop and hitting it big. Once you hit it big ALLIN

Ello LFC mate. The best books I have read are Gus Hansens every hand revealed for tourney play and Doyle Brunsons super system for cash games.
