Reflecting on the Forum Calender Event

Hey Everyone,

First off, thank you all for your support and kindness!
I'll start this story by saying:
"I'm slowly getting back into my pokershape"

On Friday I started my tournament-xp build up with 2 mini mammoths!
At the first one (morning) I finished 10th and found out where I should put my focus again. At night I entered the 2nd one at the late reg point and managed to hold on until the high blinds, ante and of course strong opponents brought me down.
Still.. I ended up 5th at the final table

That's not the end of the story, since todays play and experience was amazing. I got the opportunity to be in the forum calender event!

I managed to improve my shape during tournament, while facing strong poker players!
After losing and winning some hands and slowly rising in rank, I managed to reach the final table. there I faced strong opponents such as, zanegrey, stjimmy, telboy, yeoman and many more!

While trying to keep my focus strong I managed to reach the final 4, where I played against impressive players!
It was kind of a moment where nobody wanted to lose first. Tight plays, aggressive plays, you name it and they showed it!
Still.. one had to lose first! Outlaw showed us how he constantly managed to turn his short stack into high stack, but while the game went on he ended up 4th. After that, all that remained was a top 3!

Witnessing the strong skills of Flip was one thing but seeing her impress everyone with great plays, made it close to unforgetable! She managed to finish 3rd.

Well then.. as you probably found out! I managed to reach the top 2!
While improving my shape and choices I managed to be big stack for a long time. But ending up heads up ment of course that I faced the strongest opponent of that day, fred!
After making good choices and bad choices, he managed to rise again. The following brake and blind raise made the game tight.
Now was the time that a few hands would make the difference. After brought back to short stack and witnessing that the constant high blinds would tear me up, I saw no other option than to go all-in! It was the only way to get back into my play.

Just like all stories have a good end, this one would join that list.
With my Q 10 against.. 5 6/7 (something like that lol) it came down the the crucial moment! The flop came, the turn and river showed their face and I lost against his flush with the knowledge that I had a great time and even managed to end up 2nd!

wd, MrEmrah!!! was my second tourney after being absent a few weeks, and well, i enjoyed it pretty much, although i was out much too soon. Guess you took some of my chippies, huh???? grrrrrrrrr, lol

An update..
After an amazing day at the poker tables, I got invited @ the Titans Event!
I was honnoured to get invited and determined to do my best on behalf of the Titans!

I started playing at a table filled with only ladies. I managed to keep my head and focus up and eventually reached the top 10.
From this point I needed to survive and do what I can do!
After lots of hands and blind raises, I managed to reach the top 5 on the behalf of the Titans!

We started this match with 13 men against 19 ladies and ended up 3M vs 2L.
Even though the blinds where high everyone managed to hold on till the very last moment! In the heat of the match two very strong playing titans (dav and ulti) and one strong playing goddess (zane) unfortunately lost!
So now I ended up playing heads-up against Kez!
After a short but intense play I managed to win on behalf of the Titans
