Is there anyone out there who can say something good about the new way?

i can think of 2 good things, thats if you fold you can still see what cards you had.
Its a faster game so i dont have to spend the night putting more teeth marks in my keyboard willing people on to bet, and that is all there is better, its a lot to sacrifice for trivial improvements!!

I can't tell...I haven't seen a table yet..Unless I want to invest my new found 1000chips and start all over again?...which I don't!...So hope you're all having fun and the new site has lots of good points as there must be hundreds of us just cant get our old chip count back...and I hate being skint!...I'm certainly not starting again!...To hell with that!...Maybe I'll be better off losing this addiction anyway?...That might just be the best thing the new set up could throw my way!?...Sox

I can't say something good when I just tried to create a new account and transfer my credits and chips and keep my old member name and their system says my name is taken by someone else and my old account no longer exists and I've lost all my chips and credits and have to start a new account. the only good I can say is they created a new enemy who will bad mouth this site from now on!

I have the same problems as u whitewolf, it wont let me in, invalid player, and the name is already in use. I have nothing good to say, but as sox says maybe the end of my addiction. I have made so many friends here, its just a pity i can get on to talk and play with them.

OK guys, this is crazy.
Give it a chance.
I came from work yesterday (I hadn't played for 4 or 5 days), to discover the madnss. I took almost 2 hours to read everything I could.
I then started a new account (on the money side)I kept my screen name and password the same. Yes, I gave the personal information, read the agreement and the privacy policy.
I then transfered my play money to my account. (followed the link...easy as pie)
Then I was kind of stuck. I was scared to click on "play poker" because I thought I was on "real money" but finally I did. There It was, A CHOICE. Play or Real Money. I c licked on play money.
I was then presented with what looked somewhat like the flash lobby from before. I had already read that mini's were under "Sit & Go" so that where I went first. I "observed only" for a few minutes. Saw a few familiar faces, then I played.
Now there are things I miss. Mainly, I miss the little box on the right that tells me what my best hand is. I misss the flashing of the player who's turn it is. (the arrows are ok but will take some getting used to.
I think the white writing on the light colored background is hard to read. (maybe it could be black?)
I only played 1 mini (or sit n go). I was tired and fell asleep early last night.
The tournament section was hard to understand for me but I read this morning there are no multis at the present time. Maybe by Monday?, i think I read?
I think we all need to give this a chance before abandoning our favorite site.

Sox - I was at the spot where I had the 1000 chips and/or invalid player too. Once i clicked on the "play poker" and then chose free poker, my old chip count was there and I had no trouble playing.
try that if you have not already.

The site ent great but the tourneys easier to win players ent that good but miss the old site

Its starting to grow on me a little but its still not a scratch on the old one.

I wont miss the "call any" button, i hate ticking it a nano second before the person before me goes all in!!

Why reply to the thread then?

Personaly i don't have a problem with the test, i've had no problems getting on and playing or transfering my chips.

I like the fact that it don't tell you what your hand is because you don't have someone telling you what you have in a live game.

I also like the pace of the game and the fact there is no lag.

At the end of the day, i'll be happy with whatever script gets used, aslong as i can play poker, i don't realy care.

This is only a test and nothing is for certain yet.
