Default Something has got to be done about this!!

I'm sick of people getting big stacks and legitimately folding just to place in mini-tournaments! Free poker is supposed to be fun! How can you possibly be having fun folding 28 hands in a row? It's starting to irritate me when people do it now. You are playing for chips not money so quite being cheap and play poker!

They are playing poker.. Let me ask you this. Would you rather have you pocket Aces beaten by 7 2 offsuit?? Or would you rather them fold it and win the pot

Poker is about folding. And good players know when to fold and when to play a hand. Sometimes you get lucky with bad hands. And it sucks for the other players.. But in the long run, people will run out of luck.. and skill will come into it

Mate (ipg) , I have to disagree with you. In a mini-tourney playing the chip stacks (yours and other peoples) is as much a part of the game as playing the cards.

Try playing in the ultra fasts - no way you can fold 28 (or even 8) times without the blinds catching up to you.

If they are doing it legitimately it is all part of the game. Not only is the site free and for fun it is a place to learn how to play poker properly.

Nothing has to be done about it !! Like mat said.. and... with experience.. you'll understand.
Also, Its not just the hand you have, but how you play it.

I know folding is a part playing poker! But not when you get a big stack early in the first level of the tournament and don't play another hand until the fourth!!! After I said something about it to the guy.

Yes, you can learn how to play poker properly. However I'm sure it's not folding almost 30 hands. I'd rather actually play and see how good I really am instead of getting lucky once and just hanging out so I can place for chips! It's impossible to get almost 28 losing hands in a row!!

im sorry AFTER YOU SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT TO THE GUY "Whatare we supposed to play the way that you say that we are supposed to play???? if we did that then obviously we wouldnt be winning any chips in a mini tourny and you obviously are not aware of the ways that one can play a mini as to almost assure theirself of winning chips. maybe you should either learn from what you saw and learn from what was written in this thread or play some other type of internet game because you are not getting the jist of this one

Mini tourney's are about placing so tactics like camping and slying are all there. they are playing to win at all costs i do the same and so can you. sport was never about nearly making it. It has and always will be about winning within the rules.

I don't have a problem with playing poker. My problem is with people who do stuff like that just to place a a tournament for fake money, for chips. It doesn't make sense to me why you would do that if you are supposed to play for fun. Let me ask you this, would you play like that guy played if you were in the WSOP and fold every hand and try to make it to the final table like that? No you wouldn't. Would you play like that if you were playing for real money? To some extent but not 28 hands in a row!
