Default Thanks To Everyone

Hello everyone.
i just thought i'd speed a few minutes to thank everyone who plays on poker 66.
I'm still new to the game and also this site but must thank everyone for all the kind words and encouragement I've recieved in my very short time here.
Its great to read through the lobby and pick up tips from others and i feel my game has improved greatly since joining, nethertheless i still wouldn't consider myself as anymore than a beginner.
I'd encourage any newbie's reading this to stick at it for a while, i know myself how disheartening it can be at first trying to get a foothold at poker, loosing at first struggling to get a few points behind you and then throw them all away on a few bad hands.
As for me i acheived my first goal yesterday, a top 10 finish in a big tournament, next I'll be hoping to finish in the top 3.
also today i won my first 10k mini tourney, nice little payout of 75k which finally puts me past the 100k mark for the first time.
thanks again

Well said, noahsgrandad! Congratulations on accomplishing your initial goals. I would encourage all players to set similar, very realistic goals, and not to over-reach. Make a goal to win a 1K tourney, then the 2.5K, and on up the ladder. Doing it in steps, you will learn a great deal in the process, and it will also help to discipline yourself while climbing the ladder.

i myself am a newbie, only started playing sunday night and i am up to about 60 chips. i already accomplished one of my goals of finishing first in a mini tourney. but i fell short of my other goal of finishing in the top 15 in a big tourney, i finished 17th. not bad i think for my first tournament.

but i would also like to thank everyone on here for being so nice and helpful.
