Default Tired Thread

Iv'e thought about this real hard...looked at many posts, lots of threads and still don't understand why people get upset if someone doesn't play the hand given....but fold instead, why not it's a choice they can make.''

Many posts and threads have alluded to this, and it is a choice to fold or play.......
whatever the....type of player...the style or moreover the cards...it's still a choice....
This was just a few tourneys i observed that's all...

Given a reasonable hand...most people would rather loose on a potential winning hand..... than with a 5 2 unsuited...therefore they will play...not fold.

Just some thoughts..
Feel free to shoot me in the foot...

I agree with you. I have had a 5 2 in my hand (I was the big blind) and someone folded giving me the pot. I would never fold, unless I had to.
The only reason I can think of that a person would fold when they are not forced to:
1) Conceal that he/she bluffs a lot
2) Is ashamed that they stayed in the hand to long with bad cards
3) Hit the wrong button or was automatically folded for taking to long

It is impossible to play all hands and win so being selective in what you play and what you dont comes down to the way you like to play not forgetting all the other factors that will determine a winning hand.

Part of becoming a good player is knowing when to fold. I know this is something that i'm still learning

so true, the amount of times you see someone with a hand like AK bet till the river, only to get beat by 78 or somethin is unreal (me being guilty of this myself sometimes . lol) it`s allmost as if they feel they have more rights to win than any1 else
