I do not want to take anything away from those on the final table as they endured what I witnessed as about as bad as poker can be.

I think the "so-called random card generator" is xxxx-poor. I think my 8-bit calculator can generate a better card game than what is being used.

Oh who cares, call me what you want! Just Call!

Nice seeing some of you today and maybe another try tomorrow using different tactics.

valid points been saying it for a while, to many quads its crazy how many times i see it in a week,should be lucky to see 1 one in 6 months. need a new script badly people are getting bored of it now.

I never had a great tourney myself tonight, that's 2 in a row I have failed to even last one hour... But I do not blame the generator.
I mean why would I?
Surely if something was dodgey, this site would 'fold' under regulations that are set for poker sites on a global scale.
Yet this site is still here.
Are the cards not random enough for you?

Off the record, my grandad also believes online poker is fixed... yet he says this with no real logic, he continues to play, and still loses more than he wins.
I KNOW it aint fixed, and I win more than I lose.
I see a correlation here.....

At any rate... this thread was ultimately made about the extent of bad play in our free tourney .
And in our free tourney, which costs a tiny 2000 chips to enter, any donk who just reloaded for the billionth time, and had a lucky all-in win, can enter.

Is anyone actually surprised the tourney has bad play?

I know a few people who are starting to feel the same as you.

although i reached the final table yesterday i was not happy with my silver, some people will probably ask me why and say "2nd out of XX people thats great you should be happy" but i wasnt, the way i went out really Peed me off.
Yes the guy was lucky, he was all game.. maybe the reason i got knocked out was because of the way i played that hand, but you win some you lose some eh?

Sexy i will just say this, its just a bad luck run at the moment all you gotta do is beat it, i had bad luck for a couple of months and in the end i gave up playing, that's why i hardly play now-a-days, but NO ONE can call you a bad player, loser etc If people like you consist in doing a thing you love ( playing poker and to see your friends) it makes you a dedicated good player.
dont let it get you down, hopefully your luck will come back, just try again tonight

Thanks for all of the comments and attitude adjusting thoughts!

I understand fully that when people play to see the river, odds ARE that a few hands will come up that you wouldn't expect to see playing (what I call normally) real poker. This what I call a bad beat. Part of the blame rest on me as far as not being a little more agressive on my betting and re-raising. Maybe if I went all in on good cards, I could eliminate the donks (first time I have ever used that word) and prevent them from hitting their flush or inside straight.

I am a calculating person, just about each card laid down, I figure out the percentages and what card will improve my hand.

I do remember well before when we left the original script and moved to Pitt Bull. The ring tables were full of the above mentioned play and the OP players pretty much stayed to the major tourneys and SNG's. We were immuned to bad beats. I remember chatting back then about how easy it was for a st8t or flush to show on those ring tables, but in reality, when you have 10 out of 10 players seeing the river, someone is going to have those kind off hands. Even quads.

I know I am just venting. I would like to take it out on all of you at the tables but it seems that isn't working either. I will give it another go today and see if my change of style helps or takes me out right away.

While still only finishing 4th in todays HETS, the tables had good players on them and I didn't see anything real outlandish with how the cards were falling.

I enjoyed the convo with all, this tourney restored my faith in OP!

yes i do.....many many many good players don't play here anymore,more than you realize.i think its the people and the relationships many have developed here that keep us here. its definitly not the suk-out river poker.
