| Tonight I was playing at a tourney with only 7 on the table. Of the 7 only 3 of us were playing, some winning and losing but hey thats poker. BUT... ...when 2 of us were down to our last couple of hundred chips the 4 other players joined the game with their 'post blinds and fold' chips and were able to bully us out. I ain't got a problem with losing(God knows I do it often enough) but I hate losing to people who ain't playing or only join at the end. That sucks. |

| filb i agree with you it,s not nice players just sitting back and letting all the others bury each other, but we ca,nt force them to play,i ca,nt see the point much in that kind of play its to boring, but i suppose they want to win at all cost and if theres less opposition around they probably think they got a better chance even through their chips r greatly reduced.not sure but on the old format of this site some of the games had a certain feature which would eliminate you from the game completly if you did,nt play at least one hand in ten |

| this has come up a few times before. and i have to say i have no problem with it myself. at the end of the day, if these dormant players are happy to pass by the opertunity to increase their chip stack by folding good hands, thats fine. they are not breaking any rules. and in the example you give, if there is only 3 of you playing, that should give you a great advantage over the 4 dormant players..

| Bingo play brings out the dormant side in me! If you have one style of play on the table the only sensible thing to do is do the opposite. Both are valid. Me i would rather play poker but while people are going all in with stupid hands im not risking my chips.
