Default Tourneys, how do they work?

How do tourneys work? Honestly I just started using this site a couple of weeks ago and i don't want to lose my small 2 grand tryin to figure out how to join a tournament. Do you have to stay in a certain amount of time? Will you be penalized if you leave early? Don't think i'm a dummy, i'm just learning this sites rules.
Thnks,
B.C.

yep, big tourneys (multi table) as arsenalrules says, maybe try mini tourneys first,be patient and you`ll make chips if you finish in the top three.

All questions are good.Period.
So anyways, yes it's true, top 15 are paid and get tourn points...
15th place:1 point
14th:2
13th:3
12th:4
11th:5
10th:6
9th:7
8th:8
7th:9
6th:10
5th:11
4th:12
3rd:14+bronze medal
2nd:16+Silver medal
1st:20+Gold medal...
You can see the toplist's before you log on...
Also, right after you log on,at top of page there's a OP66 "lobby",click to enter, then click on tournaments, and you'll see all the tourns, how much to enter, and the amount won. There's a tourn every 5hrs,so if you can just "observe" one.Clicking on the tourn while in progess, then click "details",and you'l see an observe button. On the left, you'll see all the tables/windows you can enter and observe.
In the tourns, you stay 'till you win,or go bust. You can choose to "sit-out" some hands(there's an option, bottom left) but you can only do this 4 times max then you're thrown out.But you can fold as many times as you like...Again,if the comp has to fold you for whatever reason(you're away from comp, internet connection problems...)after 4 times you're removed.Sucks, but we've all been there...lol.
Hope this helps.Cheers.
Btw,you should try one when you're ready. They def help improve your game...
Good Luck!
Btw,money won is equal to the buy-in,and how many ppl are in it.Again, enter lobby during a tourn, click on details, then top left, you'll see prize money listings...

I agree with stjimmy. Play in the low end tourneys and get some top 3 finishes and be patient. Hold off on the big one's until you build up your chips.
